Ok as far as I can see the pullover Kelly and the other coaches were wearing was a half-zip pullover.The only one I can seem to find is on UND and its a full zip pullover.Has anyone seen anywhere to get the official ones like they wore during the Purdue game?

Kelly's needed to be fitted, it looked like a tent; but it's not hard to look better than Weis.

Personally, I still feel a suit and tie is the best. So classy.

Nah. No suit and tie. I figure that if baseball coaches can come out in full uniform, then football coaches should wear the uniform too. Complete with helmets.

Now that would be funny.

This is the biggest thing I have noticed about BK that I love...He looks the part, acts the part, and is the part. During the open practices held at the stadium by weis and co, the coaching staff was all dressed in different attire, this year at the blue and gold game, BK and co were all dressed alike. The organization level of BK and staff is light years ahead of CW's staff. Plus he stands at his press conferences, dresses in a suit and actually looks presentable!

As the great Crash Davis once said.."Think classy, you'll be classy. If you win 20 in the show, you can let the fungus grow back and the press'll think you're colorful. Until you win 20 in the show, however, it means you are a slob."

Give BK a few years under the stress of the job and we'll talk. I was watching a video on youtube earlier today (UCLA comeback win) and I was struck by how much better charlie looked back then. Obviously, he was never a male model, but in his first few years he looked healthier and more energetic.

As the somewhat-off-center ex-Texas Tech coach Mike Leach said about Kelly and Notre Dame: "He looks like something out of Central Casting". In almost every way, the Coach is almost too good to be true--but so was Rockne, and Leahy, and Parseghian. Lets keep our fingers crossed that we're in on the ground floor of another miracle.

outlawed it in the 70s....afraid Woody Hays would put himself in the game...

Although more ballanced than Woody...you can see it in Kelly's eyes...he used to jack some people up...would kill to see some of his old film...I bet it'd be pretty telling.

He looked too.......GQ in that pullover.....need the pullover Holtz wore, that type anyway, he looked like a coach, not a Football coach Alaesquire magazine......... Kelly looked like he came from the "Tennis courts" before the game.

I didn't think those pullovers looked very good. I'm not a fan of a lot of gold. Needs more blue.

They stood out. Which was the idea, because those were the guys giving signals to the players on the field.
