I'm going to this game with 250 co-workers who are all in the Emerald Society, we will be taking over a whole section of the upper deck. Really looking foward to it, especially our pre-game tailgate with the Cheerleaders, the Leprechaun, and our pipes & drums band. Get to see my favorite college squad play near my home town, in the stadium of my favorite professional team. It will be like a home game for Notre Dame, as they are pretty much the unofficial college team of New York thanks to the efforts of Knute. We will be making alot of noise, and Navy won't have the same home field advantage they would if they played in Annapolis. I say Notre Dame takes this by 10.

Navy scares the shit out of me now. They could easily be 6-0 when they face us. I just hope they're not 7-0 after the game.

If Navy beats us then they'll cruise to 12-0. The toughest games on their schedule are Notre Dame, Maryland, Wake Forest, and SMU. The only game they won't be favored in is the game against us. Once they play us their toughest game for the rest of the season is against Duke.

They could finish 10-2 or 11-1. And if they beat us (please, not again!), they could easily be 12-0.

On a side note, on paper we should be beating Navy by multiple scores every single season. That GD triple option burns the proverbial paper into proverbial ashes.

i expect it to be different this year. coaches had a field day planning for ND b/c they knew what was coming under weis. i will be sitting back this season sippin my kool aid and watching the Irish win by 3 scores.
