To BGIF: thank you for your moderator's editing. I have only been into Leprechaun's Lounge this one time, and, although the rules are "there are no rules", some of the commentary about punching and violating women has gone way past what my Dad taught his sons about being a man, let alone an ND man. Yeh, I know that this site is not officially associated with my university, but it alleges to behave almost as if it was. Don't worry guys. I won't be back in this particular forum to spoil your fun, if that's what this is. But there are times when a man has to stand up in defense of the fair sex whether he believes that she is a bitch or not. Forgive my ancient ways.
If this post is in regards to my post about having Erin Andrews on my list, then you have taken what I said, WAYYYYY out of context. I do believe that hitting women is wrong. Completely wrong and I support you in that regard. I think that this thread was started to ask the question, who do you despise as a media personality for whatever reason. There was a little fun added to it by saying, "Top 3 media personalities you want to punch in the face". Simple fun.
Now if there was a thread started about top 3 women I would like to have dinner with, then I would respond, "Kate Hudson, Drew Barrymore, and the woman from the show Wipeout". Now, do I really have a chance to have dinner with these ladies? Not really. Do I really have the chance to slobberknock Bill Walton, Chris Berman, and Erin Andrews? Again, not likely.
I, like you, am a lover of the fairer sex. I would never wish any ill-will toward women nor do I condone "gentelmen" beating up on a woman. So before you look down on those of us having a laugh and going against what your dad taught you about being a man, please know that we are good people having a discission on a chat board. If it offends you, I am sorry and encourage you to stay away from forums such as this in the hopes that you no longer get offended in the future. I see that you have already thought of that.
My goodness, you would have really flipped a nut with the "Hot or Not"thread.
