Tate juked 7 guys on that Stanford TD and caught a Hail Mary over 3 guys. Gotta go with Tate and Clausen.

Brady and Shark hands down.

Not to diminish what Tate and Clausen did in their careers, but for me it really comes down to the success of the team they were a part of and the games they played in. Brady and Jeff played in huge games. I know their BCS showings weren't too great, but they at least made it there. Also the '05 game against SC was hugely hyped almost like a BCS game. The '06 come from behind win against UCLA was clutch.

I love Clausen and Tate, but if we're picking teams, I would pick Brady and Shark any day of the week.

Clausen / Tate...

not taking anything away from Quinn / Samardjia, but I expected Clausen / Tate to succeed, and they delivered. With Quinn / Samardjia, I was always pleasantly surprised with they were successful, I never expected them to be successful.

Replace Texas Longhorns with Florida Gators or Oklahmoa sooners and you have my dream as well. Also replace minute to go with sitting Crist and Floyd with a minute to go because we dont want them to get hurt because of our 4 touchdown lead against the trojans and thats my dream as well :)

I say the hell with Quinn and Smardzija and Clausen and Tate.......They NEVER won the "BIG" game. Instead I'm going with Joe Montana and Kris Haines. Thats who I would want.

Clausen and Tate.

Tate is better against the double team (not to mention a lot more likely to break something open) and Clausen is miles ahead of Quinn in terms of accuracy. Nothing against Shark, but he struggled to get open against the double and triple coverage he faced against teams like Ohio State, Michigan, and LSU.

Really tough...But I don't need to compare QBs because I think I can decide based on WRs. If I have one play...I believe Tate gives me the best chance to score...

Rarely in that situation does everything go as you'd hope...Both shark and Tate were good enough route runners, jumped well, had speed, sure hands, and won most jump balls...but the thing that sells me on Tate is YAC...with Tate, you don't have to get it in...you could dump it short of the end zone, and he'd still get in...how many times did you actually see someone tackle this guy...many times he was shoved out, but he just does not go down with one guy... more options with Tate/Clausen.

Clausen and Tate. Clausen proved time and time again to be money in crunch time. Tate can score from anywhere on the field. Not a contest in my eyes

From my 18, I would take Tate and Clausen. From my opponent's 18, I would rather have the size of Shark and Quinn.

The defense would have 3 guys on Rocket.

Dude...we get it, you hate Jimmy Clausen. You were made to look completely foolish on his thread, so are we going to be bombarded with anti-Clausen gibberish from you on every thread?

For you to deny the talents of Clausen and Tate, as a supposed ND fan, is sad (and tired).

BTW, still waiting for your answer on how Jimmy Clausen can tackle, defend passes, and coach at the same time while putting up video game type numbers in a pro-style offesne with no running game behind an average line. Thanks (but I know the answer isn't coming).
