Maybe we haven't offered him because we have enough silent commits to fill our max scholarships.

Interest growing, is visiting the 29th as stated above. Scout has an article on it this morning and he also said he will not decide until he visits ND.

Ioane thought about committing on tirp (sic) to UW

Ryan Petitt UDubSports.com

Panahou standout Jeremy Ioane was impressed by everything he saw on his visit to Seattle and was tempted to pull the trigger before ultimately deciding to wait until he got home to speak with his family about the important decision.

Thanks Sir, I am just trying to get Hawaii football talent to Notre Dame.

I am happy to hear he is taking an official visit to Notre Dame. I am sure that Manti and Robby will give thier friend an earful about why he should be IRISH

I would love to have a kid getting compared to Polamalu patrolling our secondary in the next couple years.

There's a article on another website that Kelly and staff have there eye set on this recruit. Do a smell a schollie coming sooner than later? I guess all that recruiting HawiianIrish been doing for this kid is paying off.. :)

High five HawaiianIrish, glad your campaign worked out. If the kid does not have an offer but is taking an official visit, does ND still pay for his travels/ Also, did he play in the Hawaii-Mainland All-star game, and if so, how did he do?

Officlal visits are on the host schools tab per NCAA regs regardless of offer.

Wow. Just..... Wow. Glad to see the kid get offered. Late bloomers on the recruiting board always intrigue me. Hopefully he just continues our hawaiian pipeline.

I'm not sure it's a pipeline yet, but let's work on it!

If Notre Dame offers this kid will commit!!!!! No doubt about it....

Hawaii to South Bend pipeline is building :)

Im holding ya to this quote now HI! Hopefully this is the second Somoan Irish Football player we get in the last two years..... is manti the only somoan player we have ever had commit? Or wasnt there another one in the early 90s..... either way, i like to get them on the team. Most likely to enter the NFL, Ill take all we can get.

3rd samoan Irish. Teo, Justin Utupu, and now Jeremy Ioane... He just gotta commit now.

Isn't that your job to convince him? You did all this recruiting for him, now bring it home baby! Or you'll be disown from this board. Get it! Got it! GOOD!! ;)

I love it! Do you guys think he will wait for his visit to commit? From everything I've read he's been waiting for our offer.

WHOA easy Dirty easy!!!!!!! In my opinion Jeremy is a 99% lock to ND... BUT just in case i will drop off my RUDY Blue Ray at his house.....

Thank God Tom Lemming, Manti, Robby, Coach Ane planted the seed in Brian Kelly's ear about this kid....

Hawaiian Irish is already looking for 2011 prospects. There is a 6-4 310 pound sophmore who got my eye. 2nd team all state, son of a former NFL player...............

I think the first Samoan to paly at ND was Arnold Ale out of Carson High School in SOCAL back in 89 or 90. Due to injuries and homesickness he transfer to USC..
