Soon, March Madness will over. MLB will be playing in the freezing cold and the NBA is still a ways off from the playoffs. For the hardcore football fan, you have only 2 options, college spring practices and arena football. I would like to know from the true football fans your feelings on arena football and is it a good enough game to get you to August when the game we know and love returns.:footballh :football: :footballh :football:

oh yeah, as far as Arena, I get into it a bit... much more than the NBA, MLS and others things out there... pretty entertaining

I have found it somewhat entertaining because the game is so unfamiliar, you don't get caught up in the little things. You just enjoy the game as it is. I found it refreshing just to be a fan.
Sorry ACamp, I forgot about the NHL. The Stanley Cup playoffs maybe be the most exciting post season in professional sports.

I agree, NHL is the most exicting league period to me... but I still love MLB and CFB just as much if not more...

and you're dead on with just enjoying the game... good stuff in the Arena League on a lazy weekend

AFL is alright. Even though Cleveland got a team this year, I'm not really following the league. But it gets through April, then I usually follow baseball more closely.

I have decided to throw my support behind the Chicago Rush. They may not be th Irish or Da' Bears, but they are better than nothing.

If you like offense watch AFL....

I have to admit I would like to see some rule changes in all Arena Football to give defenses the ability to at least making scoring a challenge. Why is it some people believe that the only entertaining games are "high scoring affairs"? I enjoy seeing well played, quality defense in all sports and would love to see the American sporting fan embrace the beauty of a strong defensive effort.

Arena football, to me, is 2 steps above watching the Pro Bowl. I know its football, but its not 'Real" football. At least they actually give effort in arena fb, unlike the probowl joke- fest.

IMO, the Pro Bowl is the worst version of football ever created. The players don't care, the fans don't care and they play at arguably the worst active stadium in America.

I used tyo be so jonesin for fb right after the sb that I would watch it for awhile, waiting for my teams guys to play, then i realized they treat it worse than a pre-season game and still charge the same prices. So I quit watching any of the game about 7 yrs ago. i hope they continue to draw flies on the networks.
