I live in Kansas City (although I am thankfully not a Chiefs fan) and this was seen coming miles away. They're also supposedly bringing in Romeo Crennel to coach the defense. I guess Pioli thinks that if he assembles his old cast from New England the Chiefs will suddenly begin playing like them too. Of course, he'll need Bill Belicheck...Tom Brady...Rodney Harrison...Tedy Bruschi.

I am a K.C. guy and a huge Chiefs fan, and it has been brutal the last couple years....enough crying....I love the hiring of Charlie, and no the chiefs will not be looking at QB's they have spent a ton of money on Cassel and are about 7 starters away from being competitive.

Well, I hope this works out for him. That's a place where, if he can turn that offense around, he could get another shot at being a head coach somewhere down the line.

he is familiar with Cassell...plus who knows, Golden tate might be available at #5. If Alabama wins, Julio Jones may come out, that would be a nice addition to KC too. It would be apropos if he ends up with Gtate or Clausen (although,I dont see any scenario that lands clausen in KC)

Huge Chiefs fan, it's been a rough few years. They were completely without a OC and QB coach this year. Cassel needs some help with making appropriate reads quickly.
I'm glad we got Chuck.
Listen (NDOM), Chuck didn't have too much trouble running an excellent offense. It was defense that was his undoing.
I expect the Chiefs to pick Russel Okung or trade down. I could see them taking Golden for sure if he's still there in the second round.
That would be the shiz.
Either way, he can't make KC any worse.
