I never said it wasn't an important or tough position, but to win a superbowl its been proven over and over that you don't need an elite QB to do it. Someone who manages the ball without turning it over a lot. Now I'm not saying that in 10 years time Mr. Ryan won't have his share of titles, but from what I saw in college I just don't see it. Of course everyone was is gaga over him now, over the year he had. But like I said ATL was made into a decent team before Ryan stepped in. Had he started in DET he would be well on his way to JoeyHarringtonville.
I'll have some of what your having.

Jeff Hostetler, Mark Rypien, and Jim McMahon were fantastic QB's but probably not on the same level as the one's in bold. Eli Manning is still young and could definitely make the elite list before it's all said and done. Point of this is to prove how very wrong you are. You need an elite QB to win the Super Bowl. Just because 5 out of 43 weren't elite doesn't mean by any one's standards that it's been proven over and over again. Just stop now and concede defeat, because your argument has zero merit.
