I really think both Cierre and Shaq have the POTENTIAL to play right away. Not saying either will necessarily start, but they both have the ability to step in and contribute as freshmen. Mark my words, Shaq will get minutes as a frosh. Not saying he will be like Floyd was this year, but guys like Kamara, Goodman, Walker,and others will have to bust their butts in Spring and Summer in order to stay ahead of him on the roster. I am so pumped about the possibility some day of Floyd on one side, Shaq on the other, and Tate in the slot. Then add Cierre in the back field. WOW!!!

You know i got chills when I read that, we should be effin nasty when that happens. Dont forget about the depth of Hughes and Allen back there to. Oh yeah and I think we will have an all-american in Kyle rudolph too imo. The future is bright at ND!

I love that little through the legs move he does with the ball after a carry. Its not cocky or anything its just a little swagger.

You're a good guy, but I don't like trash talking a kid who is trying to find his way. Tough to blame the kid for wanting to find a better situation when he was sitting so low on the depth chart. I hope he thrives in his new situation...just not if/when we play his new team (Oregon?).

Its not fair to attack him but its certainly fair to say hes kind of a baby. College football is full of 4* highschool superstars. Its not fair to think you just have to show up and be given a spot. If he was beaten out by a freshman than that goes for something.
I dont wish Shaq anything negative in his decision. I hope he has some kind of impact especially against USC.

Ya golden boy wasn't getting special treatment like a stud in high school gets. He was challenged, i'm sure, just as was Te'o and Crist. They took it head on while he dodged. This is all my taking, not going off any articles and what not. Hopefully he made the best decision to better himself on and off the field.

I'm sure there are kids that are unhappy on every college football team. Especially with a coaching change and scheme changes. I'm glad Shaq left if he was so unhappy. Doesn't sound like a guy you want on the team anyway.

Brian Kelly was critical on most of our players when he came in..... why wouldn't he be, we had entitlement issues, a knack for finding ways to lose, and a bunch of individuals.

BK and Company did the right thing IMO.

I see they still got love for me but the coaches not so much. But its cool as long as my boys got love for me thats all that matters" lol....hey thanks for bailing on us...great to see you kid..eye roll!
