Even though he is 6'4", Devin is very mobile such that he could be listed as a "dual-threat" type QB. Even though ND runs a pocket style offense, he nonetheless camped at ND at the beginning of July and caught Weis' eye.

Following the camp, Weis said ND coaches will definitely be in contact with him and encouraged him to do the same.

He did, however, grow up an OSU fan. (but no one is perfect, LOL)

even in the "pocket style" its nice to have a quaterback that can use his legs when he gets flushed out of the pocket and gain yards instead of losing them

Saw him last night, looks pretty big actually. Says he has 36 TD's on the season, that as at least what I heard him say when he was talking to my friend.

ESPN and Rivals both state that he will commit to Michigan at the end of the week or the beginning of next week. And we move on to the next QB.

Today he changed his mind and said he will wait till after basketball season to make his decision, but the Irish still have no chance here. Good luck Devin! I will be watching you get sacked multiple times by Chris Martin and Manti Te'o for years to come.

If he does indeed pick the Skunkbears, that is a nice pickup for them, he'll definitely be a handfull for us in the future. Good luck Devin, would have liked to have seen you in Blue and Gold.

Moved to WR.

I think I heard about it first on a Power Hour a couple weeks ago when Mike Frank had some Michigan guy on. He apparently has 5:s: talent at WR. Also, expect lots of trick plays.

Talke to a guy at another BIG10 team today. He said that UM coaches have said he will play 20 or so plays at wr per game. The thought is they are getting the bet athlete on the field. Still will be back-up qb and will play qb next year. FWIW

that's an interesting theory considering the way denard plays you're really taking a ton of practice reps from your 2nd string QB

Is he expected to be in the three deep with Gallon & Roundtree?

Along the lines of what micks just said, I've heard he will have a limited (but not small) role primarily as a go-up-and-get-the-ball 3rd down/red zone receiver.

This is what Demetrius Jones could have been...

He can be a 6, 7, or 8:s: talent for all I care. With DR throwing you the ball, you may as well have no stars...

If he's good at the jump ball he could do great things for them. Thats about the only pass Robinson can throw.

Or a million stars if Gary Gray is covering him in the fourth quarter.....
