Between Kedren Young, Aneyas Williams, and Nolan James and how talented Walton and Osbourne are, with our O Line I see no need to hit the portal
I agree, although it's an open question whether the O Line will be playing at that level. They were emphatically not ready for the Miami game and it was a big part of our offensive struggles.

I think not opening the season against one of the best DLs in the country to open the year will help.

Only thing that may delay his recovery is how much weight he carries on those joints. Seems like the heavier guys take a bit longer to fully recover. We saw that w/ Mitch Evans last season. Hoping for the best though b/c he’s fun to watch tote the rock.

Hoping he can recover to this form in time for next season

Felt like it took him 2 weeks to run 80 yards, but damn if he wasn't hard to bring down  Should be an interesting 1-2 punch with Williams.

If we have the OLine healthy and ready to play, we are going to smash through every defense we play.

The RBs, OBVIOUSLY, are ZERO trouble. We will have one of the best rooms in the nation (Aneyas ++++).

My opinion is that it will (again) be THE best room. And we will have an All-American QB READY game one.

It's ONLY the health of the OLine folks. Pray for that. Everything else is good to frightenly good.

Pray for Jagusah and Craig/Otting and then put Lambert and Knapp in place and number 5 almost can be anyone.

They have to trim him down. No question about it. Might have been the plan for him even prior to the injury, if we're being honest.

Said it before, will say again. As it stands now, schedule looks a lot like a Clemson 2010's run type schedule. Two months of games where issues can be worked on. Barring major injuries, should be able to hit later games (Miami, USC) in stride.

I just ran into this young man at the grocery store this morning. He is massive. Absolutely jacked. If he is healthy he's likely to have D backs making business decisions out there

Did you ask him which Mass he had came from?

Seider's message to Young should be getting on the Jadarian Price Notre Dame Plan.

I'm biased here and I want Young to earn the opportunity to do well. He's got it in him.
Is he similar athletically or something? Price was/is something special in terms of cuts/sideways athleticism if that is how it is described.

Think about the injury set back Jadarian Price had earlier in his career. He came back and ended up a first round draft choice while playing behind J Love.

Young can get it rocking this season and hopefully follow a similar path to J Price.

Jamie went on to say Kedren is probably the most explosive RB in the rotation this year and that we should expect more explosive plays from him than Audric Estime. That comment surprised me because I love Kedren's potential but thought it was size/power only.

That’s surprising to hear he’s the most explosive after the glowing reports Walton got all spring!

Mike, ISD PH today: ND very impressed with Kedren's rehab and progress this summer. They expect him to be a real player this year.
To tone it down a little bit, he also did say as the number 3 behind Aneyas and James

In the limited reps he got as a true freshman he looked to have excellent vision and instincts carrying the ball. If he's healthy I wouldn't be at all surprised seeing him in the rotation

Love his versatility, but I don’t think Aneyas is the primary back by the end of the year. Nolan is a more natural ball career and Kedren and Walton are just more physically gifted.

Don’t forget James, who the staff goes out of their way to praise every chance they get.
