To me, he doesn’t scan the field as well or deliver as quickly as Trey, but he looks bigger and much more athletic, scrambles well, and still throws a very good ball.

I’d be extremely happy with this kid.
If Denbrock is still around, I'd rather have Pock in his offense.

Fong’d

to Indiana.
I’m sure the current ND depth chart at QB (including Champ Monds) is likely hurting us vs. IU. Obviously could be many other factors but I’d think that would be significant part of the picture.

If his opinion of himself is that low then he was never going to make it at ND anyways.

Put me in the camp of 'it's nuts to lash yourself to a HS Sophomore QB prospect.

The physical growth alone between 15-17 makes evaluating 15yr olds highly risky.

I'm perfectly good with ND letting the HS season play out and then offering.

Some QBs got the goods early at this stage. Others do not and need to develop. I don't mind going big game hunting early. But given how things played out, let these guys develop and then offer

If it’s not Prock they might as well wait to get some Jr year tape at this point to push. There are always huge QB risers and a lot of top dogs programs seem to have their guy.

Unfortunate that ND got screwed in the QB raffle so far this year, but it is a pretty decent QB class and we are a ways out from needing a QB in this class.

Well that was fast

Yeah didn’t he go from top 5 to top 1 in like a few hours… yeesh!! I’m guessing something happened where he had to play the whole recruiting game all in 24 hours.

I'm sure we'll be fine - I just hating losing any battle with annoying IU and Cignetti.

I would bet there is a much higher % of ND fans with IU degrees than Ball State degrees. Also, I don't know any ND fan complaining about our NIL budget.
I bet there is a much higher % of ND fans with IU degrees than IU fans with IU degrees, especially if you count the ones who knew about the sport before 2024
