No Porter is concerning.

I've always operated under the assumption that he wouldn't be ready until some time in season. I always suspected that the knee injury was a little bit more serious than all parties were letting on, but that behind the scenese everyone were always comfortable with an extended timeline, despite what was being said in public.

This doesn't seem to be the quote that Eric Hansen wrote down unfortunately.

There really is no reason to have to try to have him ready until the week leading up to Miami in early November. If he's not ready then, keep patient and try again to have him ready for the first playoff game.

The crazy thing about the way college football seasons are structured now, and our intention to play, what, 16 games, having talented guys start playing mid-season feels just fine.

In past years I think looking at a defense of
DE Keeley
DT Gray
DT Mukam
DE Thomas
LB Asa
LB Sneed
DB Sanders
DB Zackery
DB Golden
S. Long
S. Talich
So many of us would be excited about the defense and talking about the talent. With the addition of a 5 star DE, Mullins, Burgess, and Dixon on the DL...and Faraimo at LB. We'd be excited to see the 5 star corner and 5 star safety making an instant impact. 5 years ago, none of us could fathom that those guys would all be BACKUPS and Depth pieces. So much talent, depth and experience on this defense. Can't wait to see it.

Great news on KVA. O’Malley has said on several occasions that the defense will get a boost in October/November, when KVA comes back.

The local media said something similar about Traore when he was coming back from his ACL last summer. Didn’t think he’d be full go for week 1, etc. That ended up being wrong.

Freeman said he hopes to have him ready for week 1 and that KVA is doing everything to make sure that happens.

And considering his injury occurred in the back half of November, that’s probably best case scenario.

Said he wouldn't be 100%, didn't say "no Porter"

Was literally posting this. Said he is 100% for some things but not all routes as well

A handful of players starting fall camp limited isn’t exactly earth shattering news
