I’m sure they say the same about American football, but these VAR reviews to check if there was a flop (or “foul”) after a goal or just so so brutal as a casual trying to get more into it.

Two sets of rules based on which team it benefits.

VAR took away a potential goal from both teams, objectively.

There is zero chance VAR can overturn a goal based off a blurry video of a soccer ball 100 feet in the air maybe hitting a cable, unless whatever microchip stuff they have would have worked.

I dont think so bruv
Agree

Two exhausting games in a row + probably Argentina + Spain/France winner is a tough road.

Fair play to them for getting to the semi-final. Despite the expectation to win it's a successful tournament now, regardless of the outcome.

I don’t like England and I don’t root for them. But they have displayed an impressive amount of fortitude these last two games. Who knows what happens from here. All the final four (assuming Argentina) are good enough to win it.

Agreed. England has displayed tons of heart and an unbreakable mindset that eluded basically every English side since 1966. They have shown a propensity to endure suffering and to make the opponent suffer. No guarantees, but I think it's a little quick to dismiss them.
