I am a big fan of Anthony Edwards, fun to watch
He's awesome.

The dude I'm really starting to like is Naz Reid. No fear. He's going to go at you and he doesn't quit. Reid got to Wemby, big time.
The Spurs-Wolves series should not be tied. It should probably already be over. Ant and Naz.

The Knicks basically ended the Sixers series in about two minutes. Here you go, nice knowing you, onto the next.

Had to figure Wemby would step up after Game 4's ejection.

OKC is 8-0 in the playoffs.

I hope you're right. Vegas still likes OKC, but we'll see what they say once San Antonio can get through Minnesota.
OKC will still be favored even if San Antonio wins the next 2 games in convincing fashion. But I don't care about that. Will be a good series and I'll take the Spurs in 6.

Cavs showing some grit!

Somebody on the Pistons needs to step up and have Cunningham's back. He can't do it alone.

Tobias Harris has been stellar all postseason. I'm not sure why Bickerstaff is playing Duren. He's been abysmal in both rounds so far and you have guys like Paul Reed and Stewart playing much better at the 5.

Duren was an all-star and had a great regular season but if I'm the Pistons, no way I'm maxing him this offseason. Can't disappear when the lights are shining the brightest. I'm all for keeping him and hoping he continues to develop, but if someone else wants to offer him a max contract, good for them.

Wemby is 22 years old. He is going to be the most unstoppable force possibly in NBA history by the time he hits his prime. He's an f'n Na'vi.

Hope so because that would be fun, but there's a reason people with his build don't own all the record books. He's a broken foot away from being constantly on/off the injured/not playing rotation.

Yeah, history is not at all on his side. Same can be said for Chet.

Yao Ming had foot surgery in 2008 and never really recovered, wound up with nerve damage.

Enjoying watching Wemby now while I can.

Spurs are now 5-1 against OKC this season. Over the moon excited about my bets on Spurs to win the west, Spurs to win the title, Wemby to win WC Finals MVP, and Wemby to win Finals MVP.

I want to see a Venn Diagram of the "Soccer sucks" and "I stopped watching the NBA" crowds.

Atkinson proved last night what I've believed for over a decade. NBA coaches might be the most useless and unneeded position in professional sports. Literally, 75% of America could've sat there and been just as effective as he was the last quarter and OT. They played that game exactly how the Pistons played game 5 in the last series. NBA playoff games are marathons and if you walk 5-10 of those minutes you lose. Pretty disappointing that they played so well they other 35-40 minutes of regulation. Would've changed the series for the better to steal game 1. I'm predicting a blowout in game 2 the Knicks to win in 5

I love soccer, but NBA does suck really, really bad.
Cool. I don't see myself going into a NASCAR or UFC thread proclaiming my dislike for the product. I've found it hilarious over the years people do this with the NBA and soccer.

Fine. You don't like soccer. The thread is for people who do to discuss it. Nobody cares you don't like soccer.

Harder for OKC to win when SGA only shoots 3 free throws :ROFLMAO: Go Spurs!

I figured Spurs would take game 6 so there's a game this weekend. With how SA looked, I expect the public to back them in game 7. Shai has gone under 4 of the 6 games so I'm looking at him having a 30+ point game tomorrow. Hopefully your futures hit, but the books on the hook if the Spurs pull it out.

Wemby played great in the three games the Spurs won. He played like dick in the three they didn't. He's 22 years old and hasn't gone through the early NBA pain of playoff disappointment yet. This could be his first go around with that. Or not.

We're witnessing individual greatness one way or another.

I figured Spurs would take game 6 because they were playing at home in a do or die situation and coming off a loss. I don't buy the whole "script" narrative. Last night was an absolute bloodbath, and I have a hard time believing that result was caused simply by the NBA wanting a game this weekend. SGA is probably due for a better offensive performance at home in game 7, and his over/under is currently 29.5 (which was also his regular season average against SA). He's only averaging 24.3 against SA in this series, but I don't necessarily disagree with your 30+ point prediction. If you believe vegasinsider.com, the amount of bets are evenly split right now on the spread with slightly more of the money on OKC. Potential liability for the books is not really on my radar, especially when it comes to futures bets, but I hope they get crushed.

I’m thinking OKC wins G7 by 12-14 points. SHA will go for about 36 while Wemby gets around 24.
