You passed the fucking bar, do your own taxes!

Unless you have company setup then get that SOB CPA to do them.

Dad likes to do them. Dude got into banking after the military so hes never actually used his accounting degree. Its as much for him to have fun to do it as it is for me to not.

We normally file Turbo Tax, but because of the changes to overtime we went with an H&R Block rep this year to make sure nothing was screwed up and a professional looked things over. They said it was my wife's overtime which helped big, and she did put some considerable extra hours in last year.
Got to love the wife that pulls her weight!

To be fair, she's part of the reason we had to pay in previous years, she needs to change her witholding. I've got most of our monthly bills and I only claim 1 of the 3 kids for taxes. I feel like I should get to claim all 3

It’s incredible how this story is laughable on its face because we know that Trump doesn’t individually trade stocks. Reminds me of every dumbass IE MAGA tweet shared from MAGAMOM1488 lmao

Wow-Edited.

Suspicious. Further looking into his filings:
  • Massive Portfolio Activity: The filings cover the first quarter and list over 3,600 transactions for major U.S. companies and municipal bonds.
  • Profitable Trends: According to initial reporting on the filings, President Trump was up 20% or more on nearly all disclosed equities, with some positions (like in semiconductors and tech) showing profits over 100%.
  • Management Structure: Representatives for the Trump Organization have stated that the securities are maintained in independently managed, fully discretionary accounts, meaning the President or his family do not make the individual trades themselves. [1, 2, 3, 4]
20% increase is nothing suspicious in the big picture. Let's look at Pelosi:

Financial disclosures and market analyses of Nancy Pelosi's stock portfolio (managed by her husband, Paul Pelosi) indicate the investments generated an estimated 70% to 71% return in 2024, significantly outperforming the S&P 500's ~24% to 25% gain. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Over the past decade, her portfolio has achieved a cumulative return of approximately 838%. [1]

Huh. 🤔

Part of being a republican is just hating brown people because they’re brown. Somali day care fraud lead to calls for denaturalization. IE? Well ya just gotta trust Trump!

I don’t think anybody here is a fan of Trump’s pardons any more than we were fans of Biden’s

And I don’t like getting hit by car anymore than getting shoved into a meat grinder. One is unquestionably worse than the other. You specifically have presented as someone who cares about fraud. Let me know who’s pardoned more fraud criminals. I think the sentence you suggested was “denaturalize and deport”, still keeping that smoke?

Yeah, I still think that anybody who was not born here and commits fraud to that extent should be stripped of their legal status or citizenship and kicked out of the country.

Well that’s kind of my whole point, you really only care about fraud when it’s based on someone’s skin colour or birth country. Trump has pardoned scores more people than Biden on fraud and yet that’s just “well we didn’t like Biden’s pardons either!”. It’s expected from the fake doctor but not you.

Always the What About-isms… isn’t all the

The sale of stocks are at an all-time high

Isn’t ALL insider trading and grift bad? Especially when you’re the President and leader of the free world.

Holy shit! For sure a lot more people are gonna die in this country if this guy continues to hold power and influence in Trump 2.0 as "Trump's prime minister."

He's one sick mother f----- and what's scary is that he actually BELIEVES this shit...

"The former White House official didn't pull punches on Stephen's demeanor in meetings either, telling Kelly his belligerent persona is no act. 'What you see when he comes on Fox and he starts shouting and goes totally into Himmler mode — that’s him in meetings,” the official said. “If you talk to him, he starts going on these tirades, and you realize — you go, ‘F---, this guy really believes this.’ Very few people in this town believe anything. Stephen’s a true believer.'"

I am not condoning or supporting Trump on trading, but that post is a little misleading. I'm pretty sure neither Obama or Biden put theirs in a blind trust and I won't mention Nancy so Warrior doesn't get worked up.

Obama, Biden, and Bush all did the blind trusts. But what exactly does that mean? I imagine they all continue to have direction in what to invest/divest in. Pelosi's was managed by her spouse.
