How likely is a DL class of Seasay, Vaughn, O'Neil, Fakatou, Parks and Folorunshu? It almost seems like it is 50/50 that we get that group in its entirety. We should get a large portion of that group, but I am starting to think we get them all.

That’s certainly the dream. Teamed up with Dunham, Ewetade, Golden and Hola last year, that is about as insane of a 2 year haul any school can get!

BTW, just for fun, if we actually landed this class as listed, we would be #2 last year on 247 with a 297.67 team score. If we were to get both Parks and Fakatou for the third DT, we'd be number one at 303.49 with only 24 recruits and a long snapper. It would undoubtably be the highest rated ND class since the early 90s, and possibly ever.
And if they decide to bump up the reclassified players like Monds, Vaughn, and Fakatou, it would be even more ridiculous.

They're still talking to him, but they're planning on taking 2 bigger receivers in this cycle and they like Cooper and Coleman more. The knock on Burrell is that people think he's going to have trouble separating at the next level. He's not particularly fast... And if you're not fast, you need to be exceptional with the ball in the air and many don't think he meets that definition either.

I hope I'm wrong, I just don't see a reality in which ND can logically afford all 6 of those names. I'll be super impressed if I'm wrong!

Simple man’s opinion:

Parks is a must get because he’s a different player than everyone else on the board. He’s your genuine 1T that can play 3T. Folo and Fakatou are 3T that can slide to SDE.

Leaving the idea of who he’s related to and where he’s from out of it, Parks is very important to this class.

Absolutely forgot about his uncle. Up to me, which it is not, I would absolutely take him. And I am not hell bent on securing Chicago talent, but I think you take him because he can be the Nose Tackle…and his 28 dl teammate is a DUDE

The budget is reportedly in the neighborhood of $40 million. That gets spent faster than you think when you consider that you need to leave room for transfer portal additions.

He's going to be a good college football player. I'm not suggesting that ND "missed out", but I was hoping he'd end up elsewhere than USC. He has the height his brother never did, but the same non-stop motor. Should easily be 6'3+, 290-300lbs.

ND has bigger fish on their board and this won't be a "loss" as long as they land 2 of Folorunsho, Fakatou, Parks and / or Muhammad.
