He really got screwed bc 2008 was arguably our best class of the modern era, where we took Steve Filer and Darius Fleming (both top 100 recruits and Anthony McDonald (consensus 4 star), as well as 3 star David Pozluzny (Paul’s brother). He would have produced BY FAR the most of that group.

Could do without Lewan on campus. Scumbag.

Which is why Will loves to troll ND. I remember when he interviewed Shane Gillis & was expecting Shane to be a casual fan before Gillis put him in his place.

I agree on 3 of the 4. Darius Fleming was pretty productive and was the only player of the bunch (Compton included) to be drafted. Underrated player.

I also saw where the Fitzgerald hype was intentional as they did something like that for each team to show how the offseason can lead to outlandish speculation. And while I can’t listen to Ari (b/c he rambles on tangents far too much), I’ve always respected Staples knowledge of the game & the programs. I was surprised that he threw a lazy take like that out there b/c he usually knows his stuff.

I don’t subscribe to anyone. I‘ve always respected Staples from his days at SI to present day. Used to listen to his pod all the time until he added Ari full time. He‘s always shown to be knowledgeable of all the teams he discusses. And, IMO; he‘s always been fair to ND. I think some of it is he was an ex-player so he doesn’t get too emotional over whether he personally likes a team or not. He’s pretty good at engaging with those that disagree so have at!

I like Staples, but refuse to watch him as long as he is with that Ari chump. Ari brings nothing but nonsense. If Staples ditches him, he would be good to listen to again. Until then, we shouldn't let Ari get any views. He trashed ND at every turn.
