Siena has a better team than us.
I'm going to subscribe to this theory. So do most of the 68. That’s why they are playing and ND isn’t
Oops.I was already pretty sure that Louisville will lose to South Florida. Now I'm fully sold and adding to my bet.
It’s amazing how a 12 beats a 5 darn near every year. Thought Wiscy might get to the second week.
90% of high school basketball teams are better than us. 👍Siena has a better team than us.
But why would anyone with a right mind take money to go be on a losing team? I would rather stay at a tiny little no named school and be competitive instead of going somewhere with a dead program. But I'm not motivated by money.Pretty obvious already that there are numerous mid major and lower players that could help us. Those schools simply cannot pay guys the way the big football schools can.
We need to make every effort to keep most of our roster happy but if guys do leave we need to get the checkbook out and recruit established players on the smaller schools.
Winning with high school only recruits just doesn’t work any more.
For example most of Siena’s starters have eligibility and are good enough to play for us.
It may be the end for Davis at UNC. No Caleb Wilson but blowing a 19 pt lead in the 2nd half is really bad. A lot of heat he's getting for mismanaging his team's minutes in this one. Other than Caleb Love going crazy a few years ago and lifting UNC to the title game his tenure has been mediocre at a place that doesn't do mediocrity for men's basketball.Incredible choke by UNC. VCU didn’t even play well. Disgusting.
Agreed. I watched the firs 8 minutes of the SLU game and knew it was going to be a blow out. SLU was prepared and knew how to exploit their defense. Gerogia was trying to masquerade as an NBA team but without any players close to NBA potential.I think a lot of younger coaches put a schematic whipping on some older dogs yesterday. Either the coach is washed or the spoiled NIL era team doesn’t take to coaching.
Georgia looked like they didn’t spend 1 minute on prep for SLU. Schertz runs an offense. You need to prepare for plays.
Bucky Ball made Bennett look overmatched yet again.
Martelli Jr’s depth won out as Hubert Davis shot himself in the foot repeatedly.
One of the only “vet” jobs I thought won out was Sean Miller basically said Dybantsa can score 50 we’re gonna stop everyone else until crunch time finally helping. That game wasn’t as close as the score.
USF still covered the +5.5 and +4.5 so oh well. Onto the next one.Oops.
I went 6-2 on spread picks yesterday and here's what I'm on today:Who do we like today? I like Miami-OH to at least keep it close. Akron seems like a popular upset pick given Bama's drama. T Tech also has question marks but I think they limp through. Is Santa Clara that good or KY that unreliable to make that line?
I went 6-2 on spread picks yesterday and here's what I'm on today:
1. Santa Clara +3.5
2. Akron +7.5
3. Long Island +31.5
4. Hofstra +12.5
5. Northern Iowa +10.5
6. Furman +20.5
7. Missouri +1.5
Greed. Necessity. Desperation. But why would anyone with a right mind take money to go be on a losing team? I would rather stay at a tiny little no named school and be competitive instead of going somewhere with a dead program. But I'm not motivated by money.
Long Island looked great at the number yesterday ; but with Duke's scare and Michigan was a 4 point game a few minutes into the 2nd half; I fell like Arizona's coaches were handed some good talking points and they could lay waste to Long Island. Still a huge #I went 6-2 on spread picks yesterday and here's what I'm on today:
