You have to zoom in on South Florida.

This is retarded.

No more conf champ games.

Season starts 1 week earlier.

12 team field.

FCS/ lower level teams need to have played at least 9 FBS games to qualify

Playoffs run through December.

All games except the natty on campus.

Natty on new year's day.

Portal opens 1/3.

Canes will shock the world! Will be a lot of hype for our matchup next year!
They could for sure. Miami should’ve blown out Ole Miss but they had so many dumb penalties. They won’t get away with that vs IU who rarely makes a mistake. I can see Mesidor & Bain wreaking havoc but Beck will need to step up big time.

Miami winning is better for ND, IMO. Gives them more clout in our matchup next year and stops the hype on Cignetti who’s probably not going anywhere in the next 5 years. There are not a lot of Indiana recruits but I certainly don’t want competition for the ones there are.
Given how late in the season it is, the only way this truly helps ND is if Miami wins it and comes to SB undefeated or with just one loss. We'll see how good Cignetti is next year. That's the real test. Playing without his older JMU guys.

This is how I see it too. And as uninspiring a coach as Cristobal appears to be, I just can't take Cig winning a natty before MMFF wins one.

They haven't set dates yet for ACC games but so far Miami next year plays:
Home: Florida A&M, Central Michigan, FSU, Pitt, Va. Tech, BC
Road: Clemson, UNC, Stanford, Notre Dame.
With I guess two ACC games left to schedule?

Other than us, @Clemson's probably the only game where they *might* not be favored. @UNC, Pitt, perhaps a rejuvenated FSU or Va. Tech could surprise them I guess. But if they can reload even decently, they're probably 8-1 at worst in early November.

Don't know how reliable this guy is, so take it for what it's worth.

What the fuck is that?? Lol
This is so ridiculous. Overcomplicated and unnecessary.

It's a 16 team bracket. 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15 and so on. This really isn't rocket science and you don't need to insult any semi intelligent college football fans with the bye nonsense.

Just keep it clean, seed them up and let them play.

Considering the results of the first two years of the CFP, and the awesomeness of a home playoff game, I'm not sure I'd rather have a bye anyway. IU could play Duke. That'd be fine. Maybe they'd bring the basketball teams for a nice little double-header.

I can't really "cheer" for either team. I don't generally hate Miami, I'm too young to have lived through "Catholics Vs. Convicts," but I don't like Carson Beck, at all. I don't care for Cignetti, don't care about Indiana in general, and I like Fernando Mendoza. Either way, I don't care. I also don't live in Indiana and don't have to live around Hoosier bandwagoners who would talk a lot of shit. Just let it be entertaining.

I'm curious when Indiana falls back to earth whether the fans will stick around
No, they never do. I used to run into Seahawk fans all the time living in Southern California during the "Legion of Boom" days. I haven't see a Seahawk fan in years, but curiously I've seen a ton of Chiefs fans the last 5 years living here in Vegas.

Miami winning is less likely to adversely affect us which is all I really care about. Maybe if Miami beats us next year again I’ll feel differently.
