I like how Oregon brings in the next starter (experienced) to sit for one year behind their current starter. You pay more, but you have a solid backup and then hand over the reigns. If Carr gets f-cked up next year we have Hebert/Grubbs/Jarrard coming in. Nix gave them 2 years, Gabriel gave them 1, Moore is giving them 2, Raiola has two years of eligibility. I’m not against home grown talent, but they have a good system at Oregon.

Makes perfect sense, think like the Pros because if your starter goes down you'd better have a competent backup.

It's a big risk having guys who were inconsistent at the Prep level as your backups.

I am to the point that they can’t develop a QB.
