On 3rd down in a sub packages... He's played some 4I at Alabama. I think ND projects to be able to bump him down inside of Bryce Young to get both on the field at once. Having two guys with with freakishly long arms coming off the sane side of the defensive formation is a nightmare, especially with as much 3rd down short passing game, crossers, etc...Are we sure that Keeley isn't a DT?
ISD Freeman just now. Brewu trending to OSU, could see Graham returning to OSU now that so many WRs have left, ND visit went great but he did have some concerns. In strong spot with other OSU.
Zero mention of reason to believe we get a DT. Simply an ignored subject outside of Brewu.
ISD with a few updates:
- Brewu probably ending up at Ohio State which would put them in a tough spot with the Bama package deal.
- Things going well with Graham, but he has some concerns. Didn’t think he would end up back at OSU, but could see it with their attrition now.
- Porter hasn’t visited but ND in a good position.
- Keeley hasn’t taken any other visits and has moved out of Bama this weekend.
Other than cool the optimism on Graham, although could still happenSeems like a bunch of stuff we already knew
Given ND's needs, if I could only have one, I'd rather get Porter than Graham because Porter plays the boundary. That said, I'd definitely like to have both given the attrition ND has faced in the WR room and the fact that both Faison and Greathouse project to be gone at season's end.ISD Freeman just now. I wonder who the 4 alleged signees are. This doesn't make it sound like Graham is one.ISD with a few updates:

Idk but please be right.Am I a sucker for thinking they have London Simmons wrapped up behind closed doors?
I've been strongly suggesting for several days that ND is probably quietly back chaneling for a DT that hasn't entered the Portal yet and that they'd basically agree to compensation with said player, have him visit quietly, and announce him quickly.Media seems to have minimal info on who’s visiting. I’d be shocked if they have accurately reported every DT that has visited, etc
The update doesn’t sound that promising. Still no mention of a kicker which was the number need.
I am still holding out to judge the portal but it sounds blah.
Maybe the most concerning news snippet all week. I kept thinking they were doing well behind-the-scenes somehow.Freeman added staff is aware they cannot win a title without getting DTs. Just seem not able to.
If Keeley ends up being the only DL I’ll be stunned..source:
4 done. 2 others still likely. ND will likely slot announcements. Won’t be all at once.
Expect ND to continue to monitor guys after portal close. (There will be some last minute entries, not to mention ND wants to look at a few options at IU, and Miami)
So, 1 or 2 contributors may come after the close of the portal.
Couple possible changes in recruiting office. Maybe not fireable, but may be “Parker’d” out
Porter is a difficult pull. ND right there on money.
Edit: believe O’Malley has suggested similar to some of this.
Kicker isn’t the #1 need. They have Eric Schmidt who was the #1 kicker and will be in year 2. This team is the walking dead without DTs.
You and I have different number 1 priorities. Just saying. He made 0 field goals. Biagi hasn’t developed a kicker since he has been here.
Yes. They are probably going to need a $2M Starbucks NIL deal to lure Justin Scott into the portal at this point.Am I a sucker for thinking they have London Simmons wrapped up behind closed doors?
Probably shouldn’t have pissed in the bed at the open house.Update: got outbid for the house. I should have never left that visit without getting a commitment from the owner.
Wasn't he originally brought in as a punter or am I thinking of someone else?Kicker isn’t the #1 need. They have Eric Schmidt who was the #1 kicker and will be in year 2. This team is the walking dead without DTs.
