Either is fine by me. Both represent the weakening of the SEC and maybe foresee the shut-the-hell-up moment for some of the media. High school athletes should notice that too. IU being B1G geographically and projecting an actual "university" image rather than a semi-pro meat factory, is also OK by me. As far as recruiting, I doubt that IU and ND recruit in many of the same areas, and we are WAY more h.s. oriented, (and long-term student-oriented) than they are (portal, transfer, year-to-year desperate.) These are two different philosophies at the moment. Miami? Meh. We're never going to out-recruit them in Deep Florida. As to the coaches' personalities, who the hell cares? I want to see the SEC fade and Notre Dame succeed, not fuss about some coaching asshole, or not even an asshole --- maybe just a tough successful bastard (like Saban et al) or Bobby Knight. In the right circumstance (ex. Knight) I actually liked almost all he did. There's a role for a tough discipline-insistent coach in the lives of potentially screw-off young knuckleheads. When Cignetti begins getting "our" four star OLinemen out of midwest high schools, I'll start worrying a bit. Right now he has to get our second string to transfer.

Sounds like the refs missed some stuff last night?

This still is from when the ball started to move for the snap, you can see the LT's left foot picking up, the LG may have started a tad early

If I hear 1 more person say “the committee got it right putting Miami in instead of ND” I’ll lose my mind. First, we have no idea what ND wouldve done and congrats to Miami for making the most of their opportunity. Second, it was never about ND vs Miami, at least it shouldn’t have been. That was the BS narrative that ESPN put out there to keep their precious Bama in. What a joke that ended up being.

Unfortunately Finebaum is not a man of his word like our 2008. Finebaum would never follow through like our 2008 has.
Just need to convince someone in the current administration that he’s a radical Muslim.

He’ll be in CECOT faster than you can say “it means more”.

Shouldn’t be too hard honestly.

The other week it was painful to listen to Cam Newton and him discussing IU v. Oregon when it's oh so obvious that 1. Cam didn't realize IU played Oregon already (in Eugene no less) and 2. That Paul was trying hard to not eat his own words that Bama was basically going to steamroll IU since "it means more" in the SEC.

Texas A&M definitely deserved their spot too
If we would have got in and looked like trash we would be getting trashed for months. I think we are in a better place today than Bama and Ok are with almost all people now believing ND got screwed and Bama got special treatment and Ok just sucked. It will be nice to see Bama and Ok not make the playoffs possibly ever again. Bama ain’t got the scratch and Ok is Ok. I would think that Vandy being around Nashville (very cool town) with all the celebs and their money there would make it the new place to be. Who TF wants to be in Bama?! Or Ok for that matter? LSU might be good soon but the landscape is changing and you need a good GM and to play big in the NIL and portal game. I would say ND needs to finish string as they have made a Ty Willingham like showing so far and it’s time for MF to show up and reel in some big fish!

Cam Newton is the worst.

When I see him and listen to him I feel like he went to burning man, got lost in the desert for a few years which cooked his brain and then somehow landed a commentator job.

One more Miami/CFP item... How the hell did the ACC get this unique CFP conference payout in place?

This makes Miami winning it all even more disgusting, especially because this could have been ND's $20 mill.!

You left out that after getting lost in the desert he wandered upon an overturned truck carrying zoot suits/1930s pimp costumes, thus explaining his wardrobe.

I believe it was apart of the settlement when FSU and Clemson sued to leave the conference.

Those two done fucked up 😂

As an old prof, I wish that humans would learn something once in a while. In that desperate hope, I say the following:

Finebaum is not stupid ( piece of crap, yes; stupid, no.)

He has somehow maneuvered his utter lack of talent (and even ugly looks) into a PRIME paying lifetime media job.

His disgusting show even allows him to just sit there with possum-eating-shit-grin while retards gabble into phones.

The guy is a damm genius at purveying lazy crap into big money.

AND, because of his moronic following, he is teflon. He can say anything as long as it is SEC SEC SEC.

He is a joke with his dandy boy goofball looks. You can’t tell me he graduated with his so called attempts at English. I think they are trying to backfill Desmond down the road with their latest DEI selection.

I think his outfits are more inspired by the movie The Wiz than pimp culture but I see your point.

Greg, any thoughts on this?
I see Kramer strolling down the street in his amazing pump technicolor dream coat!
