I was referring to you saying Duff had more competition instead of saying he had a better supporting cast on his team. It's a lot easier to produce when the scouting report is 3-4 ppl as opposed to just one guy. Duff is a good boundary player but he would need to be surrounded by legit home leun hitters that can stretch the field to be lost effective.

Yes I know you were talking about the competition on his team I said I can get down with it but you said that when some receivers move up in competition in general it affects them, but for Duff it wouldn’t because he is in the Big Ten, even if he’s from one of the worst teams in the conference.

Saw a poster on II say Jayden Limar which I think is a pretty good shout here. That would be a bit better version of Devyn Ford and some quality depth.

I'm actually excited to see who we land in this year's transfer portal. This year feels different, I think we make some big splashes.

Beefing up the D-line, especially with DTs, would be a tremendous use of the portal. If there is one area ND still has some lack, it is with DTs.

How awesome would it be to get a couple stud DTs and have a STOUT D-line? I think this would help bolster a championship run. A stud WR would be huge as well. Just one "go to" big and fast hands WR.

All of the transfers leaving ND are always hard to watch, but it has basically become the norm in college football. And now we wait until Jan 2nd-16th for all of the transfers coming in.

Limar is a solid back, hard runner, doesn’t look like a game breaker. Sort of reminds of Aneyas Williams . I think a more explosive playmaking back like portal transfer from JMU would be a better compliment

Give me Michigan State star WR Nick Marsh, 2 top-tier DT's and a sound, accurate (within 45 yds.), healthy kicker and I'd be happy with that as a portal haul. Play the rest with what we have, including QB.

I can agree with you because Marsh and Duff are very similar and different at the same time, and I would be happy if we got either of them. I would have Duff probably 3 behind Coleman and Omarion Miller, with Marsh and Reed Harris right after, hbu?
