Ehhh, the top 3 in receptions that year were 1) Javon McKinley 2) Mayer 3) Kyren Williams; I suspect next year's WR lineup will provide better options. Also, Clausen and Carr were/are much better throwing downfield, which generally doesn't equate to more receptions for the tight end. Not to say Premer won't be a starter, but I wouldn't project significant stats. I could see a game or two where he blows up.

Intriguing because he was recruited by Syracuse as a Mr. PA player of the year 6'0" 254 lb RB in 2021, and is now a 6'4" 320 lb productive DT. Appears to be a good run stopper.

FWIW. Canion did not play today but reporters maintained prior it is not a portal thing.

But he would fit nice and snug in South Bend if he wanted to revisit that commitment….

Can I just say how relieved I am that we don’t have to deal with speculation on every guy with a minor injury in a bowl game. I do not miss that.

I don’t see any RB as Loves replacement. Maybe Price’s replacement but not Loves. Williams is Loves replacement and should be given several games to show us what he can do as a full time starter. He certainly put up impressive numbers when the running game was expected. I can see him exceeding Loves total yards.

I think Williams could crack 1,000 but beating 2024 or 2025 from Love would be 2008/Burress levels.
