People are saying "a three loss team can't get in"-why do you think that? Did you see what the committee did last week after Bama's "gutsy" win over a 5-6 Auburn team? And yeah, Auburn is better than its record. Sagarin has them around where Pitt is. We beat Pitt on the road easily. We didn't move up. We beat Syracuse 70-7. We didn't move up. Bama is likely in no matter what; our own view of what is fair has nothing to do with the committee's behavior, which is best explained as them protecting the SEC.

Disagree. The sole reason Bama moved up in the latest CFP was so they’d have some buffer so if they lose to UGA, they may drop but not far enough to be out of the top 12. It happened to them last year when Clemson upset SMU in the ACC CCG.

That said I agree that it shouldn’t happen…but it will b/c I guarantee Sankey has made that clear to the committee.
Agree to disagree... but playing ECU in the last three games of the year shouldn't be a decider on the W column which is exactly what's happening .....

They have already deemed that a non-factor by putting them ahead of us, BYU, and Miami in the first place.

There’s really only 3 scenarios that can happen IMO:

Alabama wins- who knows what the committee will do. Hang onto your butts
Alabama loses by 2 scores or less- ND and Bama flip.
Alabama loses by 17+ Alabama is out, ND and Miami are in.
Tend to agree that the only way Bama is facing uncertainty is a blow out loss. Maybe a late Simpson injury coupled with a close loss.

I’m seeing them much lower now but here is where I originally saw it and confirmed in app I was seeing the same thing:

I have a thought for this development (sorry if it’s already been posted). If ND makes it then they’d currently draw A&M first round. So maybe pushing A&M up and dropping Ole Miss due to them not having their HC and avoiding the rematch between the Aggies and Irish explains this movement? Apologies if someone already speculated this.

I still think ND gets left out. I have zero trust in this corrupt committee.
I’m not quite at that point, but the fact that this committee is willing to say whatever they have to say to advance their agenda does make me nervous.

Dude, you seem oblivious to how the CFP committee has said Conf Championship Games impact the seedlings.

If I just called you ignorant, would that be better?
lol, only a child would take what the committee says at face value. Please don’t respond to me again.

Why do they point out all the instances where H2H won out but ignore the times it hasn’t. I’m sure there’s more instances but 1993 for the NC & 2008 (Texas/OU) is a clear example of where H2H did NOT win out. At least come with facts from both sides instead of being the sports version of Pravda

I hope you’re right & I agree with your sentiment but the CFP (in their passive-aggressive way) made it clear they are greasing the skids for Bama so they don’t get left out two years in a row.

I cant understand why these announcers feel like they have to vouch for Miami.
It's literally a conspiracy. They all got their talking points after the game results went how they did last week and they were like "well damn Miami isn't going to be in the ACCCG now so we have to..."

That's why Bama and ND were flipped after Bama struggled against Auburn, and that's why everyone is universally stumping for Miami now. Nick Saban even flipped his tune this morning to "Miami kicked Notre Dame's ass" when he hasn't said anything like that all year. ESPN is also financially invested in the ACC FWIW.

I know for a fact Mario Cristobol called nick saban to stump for the hurricanes getting in

And Saban did on national tv today

The drumbeat continues. ESPN obviously wants Miami over us. All their guys keep saying it. I thought we were a ratings magnet.
They've likely already received the bags of cash and it's push the agenda or sleep with the fishes Bay Harbor Butcher-style.

Notre Dame and Miami should both be in over Alabama.
This is the real answer to everything. It is so simple but it isn't going to happen because ESPN is literally in the bag for the SEC. Greg Sankey admitted months ago to "personally lobbying" individual committee members to get up to 6x SEC teams in. I can't believe he said that out loud, much less that there was zero pushback on the topic.

I get it brother... I really do... but alabama being flipped last week was BS... MFMF could have left starters in and fk'd Stanford.. which IMO.. he should have done....
