That was a 4 team playoff, FSU would have been in under a 12 team system. My opinion is that if Lane bolts OM is still in at 11-1, but they might drop a few slots because of it.

It's actually worse, because people were arguing Michigan should jump us when we were undefeated and Michigan had a loss (against us). If we had lost a game to have the same record as Michigan we would've ABSOLUTELY been ranked behind Michigan. That's exactly what's happened to Miami here. It happens every year.

He thinks Oregon drops to like 11 and was then going on about how Oregon would compare favorably to Notre Dame and should probably be ranked ahead of them.

In what world is that even close???? Oregon's best win would be....Iowa and they would have a loss to a team at home that ND beat by 10. I had to go back and relisten because I was so shocked that he even said it.

At this point from what I can tell the only way a 10-2 ND misses out on the playoffs is if Michigan beats OSU and jumps us and BYU beats Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship game (if that is the game) and Bama gets ahead of us if they have any big games left.
