Having an elite senior season. Not the same mensurables to project as well as CJ but swoop in here as it’s only a matter of time before a major P4 flops him
just got way more weapons/OL strength than CJ had.

Lincoln Keyes the TE is committed to UGA.

I don't see why you wouldn't offer him anyone else thinking the same?

If he has the talent to play college football but likely not at Notre Dame there is no use of him riding the pine and taking reps from others. And I’m sure he has higher aspirations than that. Still talking about a MAC QB commit right now.

The portal exists if proven wrong.

Not going to lie, I had not paid much attention nor watched any of his film. I know he plays in a smaller league and still only has MAC offers, but he moves different, balls comes out of his hands different. Tommy > Grubbs

.....they can also do better than both.

Pretty sure he's gotten some offers from lower tier P4 schools like Wake and Rutgers. Think he even has an Iowa State offer too

If he can’t get CJ to stick around through his senior year (or longer) then he’s worth a scholarship.

I don’t know why the consensus isn’t what you posted.

Why not let him go to a school for two years and see if he develops, at which point you NIL him if Herbert/Grubbs aren’t cutting it. This isn’t 2014 and ND is a “have” school not a “have not”.

Most blue blood schools are going to be in tough having three promising QB’s.

Honestly shocked we didn’t offer him I like Grubbs but I think Michigan is banking he ends up as good as CJ which he can

Michigan has a 6 million dollar QB a class ahead of him and another commit, but he tore his ACL just a few weeks ago. This is Michigan signing a legacy QB to fill a depth chart spot. Good for Tommy Carr, he grew up a Michigan fan.

And he’s going to be a good player somewhere. Maybe not at a Michigan when it’s all said and done, but imo he’s going to be good. More athletic than CJ. Maybe not as good of intangibles, but I personally like him more than Grubbs. This is more than just “signing a legacy”

I think Grubbs is a far superior prospect, and it’s not really close. The arm talents aren’t in the same realm.

Speaking of legacy QBs, he'll be sharing a QB room with Kirk Herbstreit's kid.
