Penn State…I am asking you for one thing. Just one.IU has a cakewalk the rest of the way into the Big10 championship, their real test will be vs Ohio St.

In his defense he misplaced his dictionary. If only there were way more convenient ways to spell check....If the ND basketball team had a 2 year run of high level success 10 years ago or so would that have made ND any less of a football school?
(BTW, you misspelled "whiny" in your little insult title there under your username. If you're gonna talk shit maybe govern yourself a little better, okay buddy?)
I think we should all be at the point where nothing is surprising anymore. Anything we once knew about college football is long past. The new contract means a lot less now. Don't be surprised folks
If I recall correctly, the language around a buyout for another team to take him was pretty generous. It actually wouldn't cost that much to poach him.The new contract means a lot less now. Don't be surprised folks
That's what I read.If I recall correctly, the language around a buyout for another team to take him was pretty generous. It actually wouldn't cost that much to poach him.
Curt Cignetti's new contract with Indiana features two distinct buyout clauses: if he leaves for another job, his buyout is $15 million, decreasing over time. If Indiana fires him without cause, they owe him 100% of his remaining contract, which amounts to $92 million over eight years
Something happen today? The new contract means a lot less now. Don't be surprised folks
LSU wouldn’t care about his new contractSomething happen today?

Yes, and they might be the best team in the country.Do you guys really think Indiana is the 2nd best team in the country? I don't. I think they are pretty good don't get me wrong but it's freaking Indiana football man.
That is just crazy to me. I'm being serious when I ask because I'm genuinely curious to what everyone thinks.Yes, and they might be the best team in the country.
I think they're certainly top five. Oregon's only loss is to IU. Illinois now has three losses, which makes me question Indiana a little bit more, but they're rolling over teams that not too long ago would beat them without incident.Do you guys really think Indiana is the 2nd best team in the country? This is true. They aren't playing any close games are they. So what is going on in Bloomington?? Are they backing up the Brinks money trucks?I think they're certainly top five. They're very good. I've caught up on some of their games recently and watched how they play. They're pretty clean. Disciplined, excellent tackling, everyone is where they're supposed to be, they communicate with each other on the field, etc. Very well coached. They execute more often than not.
We'll see how they stack up on a neutral field against Ohio State and in the playoff, but right now, outside of tOSU and a couple of others I don't know who beats them.
Probably not. We have Venmo and Zelle now. This is true. They aren't playing any close games are they. So what is going on in Bloomington?? Are they backing up the Brinks money trucks?
Oh yeah I forgot about that. 🙄Probably not. We have Venmo and Zelle now.
They have decided to jump into the money game 100%. NIL, portal, coaches salaries, upgrades, renovations, etc. This is true. They aren't playing any close games are they. So what is going on in Bloomington?? Are they backing up the Brinks money trucks?
I definitely think their top 5. I keep coming away from every game of theirs impressed with the d-line. They are relentless. Coached by our very own Pat KuntzThat is just crazy to me. I'm being serious when I ask because I'm genuinely curious to what everyone thinks.
I mean I'm not saying they AREN'T I guess but it's just so hard to believe. It's Indiana FOOTBALL. not basketball. 🤣
I imagine if they played Bama, UGA, or A&M they would be more likely to lose than not, but the SEC teams haven’t been consistent this year (or last) so it’s hard to say with any real confidence who wins those games.I think they're certainly top five. I think any of those three and Ohio State can beat IU on a neutral field. You have to be talented, disciplined and well coached to beat IU right now. @notredomer23 points out they have a lot of seniors on their team. Guys who are 22-24 years old and have been playing college ball for 4-6 years. That experience pays off right now.I imagine if they played Bama, UGA, or A&M they would be more likely to lose than not, but the SEC teams haven’t been consistent this year (or last) so it’s hard to say with any real confidence who wins those games.
I think ND beats Indiana unless it comes down to kicking.
One thing I have noticed about Indianer.....they sure look fast.I think any of those three and Ohio State can beat IU on a neutral field. Coming off of that BC game, I honestly don't know if ND could beat IU right now. That game likely takes place either in Bloomington or on a neutral field. We'll see. Cross that bridge when I get there.
