What an incredible series and an incredible end. One of the best endings ever. Both teams made amazing defensive plays to stay alive.
Yeah the poor little Jays who only had a TOP FIVE payroll and offered Ohtani over $600M 2 years ago, how is anyone supposed to keep pace.Time for a hard salary cap, although that will never happen
Game three both teams combined for 11 innings worth of no run clutch pitching. Both these bullpens are shit and neither has a closer. These last 27 outs should be interesting
I hate the Dodgers tonight because they cost me money.I really hate the Dodgers. Not as much as the Brewers or Cardinals but a lot.
75How many runners in scoring position did the Jay's leave out there? Gonna be a tough one to live with.

This is the most bitch made post. You don’t truly have a passion for your team or sport if you’re going purely on what country the team is from. From SoCal but not a Dodgers fan. This was a bunch of no name David’s vs the giant payroll Goliaths. Tough ending but had to root for USA when it comes to America’s pastime.
I normally root against the dodgers so I am NOT a fan and wasn’t rooting hard for them. Typically I root against ALL SoCal teams hence “BeatSc”. I’m a cubs fan but they bitched out to the Brewers. Could have been any USA team vs the one Canadian player (Vlad Jr) and the Blue Jays. I did pick the dodgers in 7 before the series so that could be another reason. Big payday just like last year when I picked them in 5. Not even a baseball fan. This is the most bitch made post. Peak “SEC fan” behaviour. I’m sure other Big10 teams were really pumped to see Michigan win in 2023.
Jays are a good team over performing but hardly a David. 5th largest payroll with the 2nd richest ownership in the MLB. Salary cap would be horrible and benefits poverty franchises.
Well said. This was a phenomenal series. As a Dodgers fan, I can say the Blue Jays played better baseball for seven games. Dodgers were just able to rise up when it counted most. That Toronto team is phenomenal & what’s good about baseball. They spent half a billion on Vladdy and he’s worth it. They need to re-sign Bichette b/c he’s a professional hitter & a five tool guy when healthy..This is the most bitch made post. My good friend played Centerfield for team USA softball. He was good. Miken even made a bat for that dude.I normally root against the dodgers so I am NOT a fan and wasn’t rooting hard for them. I was hoping the mariners would knock off the Jays b/c Toronto was the only AL team I thought could win it all. I came away more impressed w/ them after the WS than before but they are legit. Even towards the end, my wife & I were saying “even if Dodgers lose, this was a great series & neither team should hang their head”
Man my wallet was sure rooting for the Jays. Just wasn’t met to be this year. Problem is Toronto won’t get out of the East next year. Tough ass divisionExactly my point. Could be any team vs the Jays and you’d support them over the Jays. That’s incredibly backwards. Imagine cheering for the white sox over the jays?
To me it seemed like a 2024 ND type run. You had the dolts on the outside pick them as some plucky underdog, but they really had a nice collection of talent - just not Dodger level.
The whole “buying a championship” thing is also dumb as fuck. Are the teams not supposed to improve their rosters? Every fan wants their team to buy the best players, if you want ridiculous parity go cheer for an NHL team.
Boo. Go TinCaps.

So true. The debate will rage about a salary cap. To me, a cap is throwing the baby out w/ the bathwater. If owners get a cap, the shitty owners will now have more excuses to not invest in their product. What incentive is there for them to ever spend as they rake in revenue share & increased ticket fees/concessions from their fans? Start w/ a salary floor before jumping to a cap. Maybe in time there will be both but crying for a cap b/c fans favorite teams have shitty owners is like the SEC teams firing their HC every 2 years & wondering why they can’t make the CFP.To me it seemed like a 2024 ND type run. Look at the NFL & NBA. The lowest payroll has never won it all despite a cap that is supposed to ensure parity & keep the deeper pocketed teams in check. And this despite expanding the playoffs to the point where “everyone gets a trophy”. It’s like Upward Sports at this point.

Which MLB team is located in those cities?A few NHL highlights from last night had Canadian cities cheering for the Blue Jays. How is that any different?

Well, there's a half dozen cities with teams that are closer than Toronto that these people are probably fans of.Which MLB team is located in those cities?
It’s a ridiculous reason when it’s the Dodgers and not just even a lesser known team.Man who has no natural interest in World Series teams roots for home country team over foreign country team: Film at eleven.
I just unblocked you for a moment, as I was curious what you're bitching about now. I can only imagine how much it must suck to wake up morning after morning and be you every time.
