If someone has something concrete to say, I'm all ears, but Schmidt also sprays the ball kicking off the tee. And I'm not seeing anything at all wrong with these holds to my amateur eye.

The simple answer is that Burnette is hurt and Schmidt is just total ass. Noah Burnette was literally 100% on both field goals and extra points prior to injury. The 3rd string kicker flubbing it can be chalked up to small sample size.
Third stringers kick looked nicer but was just off

Change the dumb ass "down without contact" and make it NFL rules and Tae Tae has more points than BC
Tell him when he doesn’t need to take a knee don’t take one. He didn’t need to do that. Educate your guys. He gave up a pick six.

total pile of horse crap

This game means nothing to the playoff committee

Only fools like you think so

This was a clunker of a game but outside of the kicking concerns nothing important at all
Well then I’m a I’m a fool BumTard. We’ll see if we’re at 12 or better come Tuesday.

#8 Georgia Tech is toast, getting manhandled by unranked NC State. So, pretty sure we pass them up in the rankings. Hopefully, #18 OU can hold on vs #14 Tennessee, so that the Vols don't leapfrog us. I doubt OU will if they win.

Was at the game. Really weird vibes. The crowd, minus BC’s student section, was probably majority Notre Dame fans. But we played like poo and they had the ball for long stretches and BC is kind of amateur hour in general so the energy was all off.

Meantime it was pretty obvious that they could not run on us, could not throw deep, and could not stop our offense. It was just seven yard passes and mistakes by us that kept the game annoyingly competitive, but the actual outcome never really felt in doubt. Nor, I think, will anyone at the CFP notice or care that we *only* beat BC by 15 (when it should have been 25).

That said if we don’t clean up the kicking game and the penalties we will lose to an actually good team.
Ok if you say so. We will see on Tuesday. I’m guessing we fall to 15.

GT will only have one loss so not sure about that but we did drill NC St pretty good.

Too many games like these under Freeman

Denbrock offense lacks and kind of midfield game or crossing routes

Denbrock needs to retire after this year

Team needs to realize every week is a playoff game and style points matter

Does Denbrock not know you can run outside?

We will lose to Pitt on the road without improvement
Hahahahahha what a pathetic loser you are 🤣

Missed the game today. I think I hate myself enough to watch it in its entirety tonight.

Didn’t help. But Miami did the most damage. Cristobal continues to implode when it matters most.
Not really. Miami is eliminated now. 11-1 Miami that doesn’t make the ACC championship game gets in over us. 10-2 Miami does not.

This game was also a great example of how the clock rules (that were forced by the TV networks in order to fit in more commercials), really change the trajectory of a game when an underdog is able to hold onto the ball and eat clock.

This is terrible and needs to be reversed.

GT just got worked by an NC State team we dominated.

Ok looking like they will beat Tenn

USC won a close one against Nebraska

Pitt won

Sadly Navy crapped out so hopefully we do better than Noth Texas and hold the below 17 while we score 40+.

Some less than dominating performances by many today but none of them played a terrible BC team.

Just saw the highlights. Tae should have had 3 picks and one of them a 6 - one of those games like Morrison's against Clemson and Julian Loves against someone 5 years ago and Watts against a few teams.

Obviously the game sucked. Oline was ass. Denbrock was ass. I thought Carr was fine. Thought the defense was fine. LBs are incredible.

Did anyone see the pretty quick blow pass handshake between Freeman and O’Brien? Wonder what fueled that.

I’d get it if ND tried to score with two minutes left but they took a mercy knee when they needed some style points.

I know they started Navy prep during the bye.

Great to see how seriously the guys took it, letting BC go on long, sustained drives just to get a better look at how fucking excruciating the Navy game might be if they don’t get their shit together. A+ prep work by the defensive staff and players.

Also helped the offense see that they need to improve efficiency, and can’t just rely on super sick 94-yard TD’s all the time.

(Would love to see Carr dial it back in a bit more on the deep shots. I know we hit one, but missed two others that should have been walk-ins for Fields.

Would love to see the return of underneath and intermediate crossers. Feels like Denbrock was using them early, but got away from them.

Hate that the ACC officiating continues to just blatantly fuck ND. You don’t throw a 15-yard facemask, even if you claim it’s for going to the inside of the back of the helmet, when there’s too much traffic to see the ball carrier’s head either way. If you throw that, you are LOOKING for a flag to save BC’s drive. Just obvious bullshit, imo, but maybe I’m just a dumb homer.

OLine will get better as the two newest starters figure their shit out.)

Fuck the ACC
It is a poverty dork ass league
1. Yes
2. In large part because of the comical greed of the Big10. The propaganda is pathetic and an uncomfortable amount of teams in that league are horrible, regardless of what Joel Klatt says.
