So far, Cal has erased four of their own men's names (presidents/donors/etc) from buildings due to a gross failure to appreciate evolution through spacetime. They're very much like 6th graders viciously condemning grades 1 through 5, the penthouse condemning the tower, the peak condemning the mountain and the geological processes that created it.

Texas over Vandy is a near essential W for us.

USC, Cal, UF, OU and NC State Ws would be pleasing.

I would add (not necessarily upsets...but what we are looking for):
Navy over North Texas
Virginia Tech over Louisville
Florida over Georgia (why not)
Pittsburgh over Stanford
Cal over Virginia
Utah over Cincinnati
South Carolina over Ole Miss

Do you guys think Tennessee makes the playoff if they win out?

Kind of a boring slate overall. There has to be an upset somewhere.

If they win out, the last at-large spot could well come down to 10-2 Tennessee vs. 10-2 Notre Dame.
They'd have losses to Georgia (close) and Bama (not so close). Best wins over Vandy (probably ranked even with that loss) and Oklahoma (maybe not ranked by season's end).
We'd have losses to Miami (close) and A&M (close). Best wins being USC (maybe ranked) and Navy or Pitt (maybe ranked but no respect either way).
Both teams on a good run in the second half of the season. One common opponent in Arkansas (we blew them out, Tennessee had a three-point win).
Taking brand names and conference affiliations and personal loyalties out of it, who do you take?

Depends on how the teams look. ND is high in the advanced metrics and if they win big each game they are definitely in.

Tennessee got embarrassed in the playoffs last year and we made it to the final.

A lot of ranked teams on the road today. A perfect setup for a big upset Saturday sort of day. I think Georgia, Miami, Texas Tech, Virginia, Louisville, and GTech should all be on alert.

A lot of teams on an open date too. Which helps provide the underwhelming slate.

That kid Syracuse sent out to QB last night was utterly not ready.Fran Brown is supposed to be an up and comer. Not sure how a highly regarded coach can miss the boat so badly. Is Angeli the only guy on scholarship there?

To Fran Browns defense that was their 3rd string QB because Angeli got hurt and Ricky Collin’s played his 4 games and decided he wants to red shirt before he transfers.
