Honest question, why are people trying to push Fisher inside? He seems pretty athletic/ has the measurables to play tackle. Haven’t noticed him being a liability as well.
I agree with you. Fisher should 100% stay at OT.

Because they want Blake to transfer. I gotta think he’d heavily consider it if pushed inside.

Only because I question which would be the better 5. Fisher as a hyper athletic guard with tons of power and Baker holding down a tackle spot or Fisher on the outside as a tackle and Kristofic on the inside.

I have no idea either way, I just like to mentally experiment with all of the options even if some appear too novel.

Tbh I think Baker would be a liability. Has not looked good in limited time. Would be a bigger fan of finding someone for the RG spot and we would send out a better 5 than moving Fisher inside. What about Carmody?

God I hope Billy just has a knee sprain and is good to go after the bye...

But if we lose Craig and Schrauth in subsequent games after losing them both last year, there's a tinge of regret watching Coogs and Rocco play well this year.

Some posters on II said last night he’s done with acl injury, but not sure if that was just their opinion.
Freeman gave a sliver of hope that it may be a contusion. That said, I think the previous times they thought it may be something less severe….it ended up being season ending.

Freeman was just pulling random words to illustrate the fact that he had no idea. Zero chance that it's a bruise.

I suppose we aren’t going to find anything out for 8 days with the bye week and no MMFF presser this week…

Hopefully it’s not serious. If it’s not I’d give him a few weeks off. We shouldn’t need him against BC.

If we have essentially a whole new OL against BC isn’t it conceivable the whole thing implodes?
I think we’ll be fine with Otting, who played well last night, and Absher. However, it someone else goes down, the wheels might start to come off.
