The shutdowns almost always belong to the party not in power, even when it is Republicans. They chose to do this.

Dems have similarly held up nominees in a ridiculous manner and can wait for their rep when the government shutdown is over. Zero reasons to house to give Dems agenda time of day when they won't do their job.

The republicans hold both sides of congress, the presidency, and the Supreme Court. This shutdown is on them. It’s their own fault for forcing through the BBB that they can’t do the same right now.

Again he sent them home well before the shutdown happened. This is unrelated to the shutdown. Them continuing to take Ls to defend a pedophile is a wild choice. Trump ran on releasing the Epstein files, now him and his chuds are doing everything imaginable to keep them sealed.

Why is that the democrats fault? Do some governing and come up with a bill that isn't 100% partisan.

How is a continuation, like that used in every scenario before, partisan? Democrats are at fault because they dug in and choose to shutdown. They want a win and felt like they had the momentum to put pressure on Republicans. I don’t see it panning out.

If you think this budget issue is strictly the Repubs fault, you're sorely mistaken. Plenty of blame on both sides. They need to come together.

Maybe the mentality has shifted in the public to view the shutdown as a good thing instead of a bad thing. Time to take credit instead of blame.

It's definitely all of them. The fed just doesn't work quite like it used to, not enough compromise like there used to be, too much hostility. The bullshit fighting and silly investigations that go nowhere and are grinding progress to a halt. I'm pretty sure that's what they want though, division is good to drive outrage and donations.

Not a Qatari air base. They will be conducting training of their pilots in Idaho in a facility that they will be paying for. We already train Qatari pilots in the US at Seymour Johnson in North Carolina. We already train Singaporean pilots in Idaho. The outrage over this is pretty much a nothing burger
