I'm not off topic. I already answered who a Christian should look to: sola scriptura. Solus Christus.
Christians shouldn't look to me, a pastor, a church, or a pope for religious guidance. We're all human and flawed.

By the way: Catholics recognize the pope as the figurehead of the church. Not reformed Christians.

Also: I never said that Christians should look to me. You are the one that implied that.
Amen! It’s really hard having a Christian convo with someone who seems to be pretending and admits to cherry picking things to follow. Toronto probably read that being 5% Christian is enough and a perfect balance to fit his lifestyle.

In your words, define a Christian lifestyle.
The exact opposite of Charlie Kirk.
harlie was specifically talking about four people,
Where in the Bible does it say that it's acceptable to say that people who aren't your sex/race don't have the same brain processing power?

Or that we should we should make light of someone's husband nearly being killed and call on "patriots" to bail the person who committed the crime out of jail?

Book, Chapter, & verse. Thanks.

You've said numerous things on this board to attack people.
So has Charlie Kirk.

I can find multiple examples of him extending kindness to others.
Even Mussolini had the trains running on time.

The exact opposite? You're silly. And hyperbolic. You aren't even trying to have a discussion - you are stuck on transmit and you are unwilling to listen.

Thanks.

You are twisting facts. Charlie didn't say "people who aren't your sex/race" - he said 4 people in particular. Arguing that he was applying that to an entire sex or race is purely rejecting fact to fit your own twisted narrative. Arguing that he wanted to bail a person out of jail without acknowledging the context that the narrative was fishy (it was), and that things were being hidden (they were), and that someone should break him out of jail to answer questions - it's misrepresenting the actual facts of his statements to fit your narrative.

If you want to argue something, you need to be grounded in facts first.

And you are purposefully asking a misleading question. Maybe the question you should ask is: where in the Bible does it say it's okay insult someone? To which I would respond: the Bible clearly doesn't defend insulting others, but where in the Bible does it say that Christians are perfect? Every Christian on earth sins. Every one. That doesn't make them an evil or vile person. It makes them a human. Just like you and all your imperfections, despite you putting yourself on a pedestal as better than others.

No I'm not. You can't read.

Like I said, stuck on transmit.

My caution to you: you do yourself a disservice when you ignore reality.

Niether. Both are flawed and cannot get you into heaven.

Edit… but I will also add that God does call us to be in good company. We are the sum of who we surround ourselves with. The whole thing about iron sharpening iron and many other random things in the Bible that you may or may not subscribe to, because you only pick and choose. The Bible is very clear about surrounding yourselves with Christians or in essence, the body of believers, essentially the Christian Church. God does not call us to follow the pope or look to the pope. Jesus came to the Earth for that very reason, so we can look to Jesus.
Got it, so if I look to the Pope for guidance on how I should feel about other religions, I am incorrect?

Just trying to square away who I should trust, Sixstar on all other religions being false or the Pope. You can see how it would be pretty confusing, on one hand I have Sixstar and on the other the Pope.

Pope Benedict XVI - “I hope that ... my deep respect for great religions, in particular for Muslims ... has emerged clearly,”

I'm sure I could find other similar statements for John Paul and Francis, but if the most conservative guy is saying this than it's not looking good.

Benedict says Islam is a religion in which he has respect for, legitimizing it's existence. But, a guy online says other religions are false.

All this because I said the most radical interpreter's of a religious text are dangerous.

No..you should listen to Kirk who said Islam is a tool being used to slit the throat of the US and that it's a political ideology only concerned with conquest.

Yes.

Where in the Bible does it say that it's acceptable to say that people who aren't your sex/race don't have the same brain processing power?
Where in the Bible does it say people who arent your sex/race are exempt from ridicule or criticism?

John 4:1 – Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.

Galatians 1:8 – But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.

You are incorrect if you are just going on their word alone and not testing it through the Word. When you die the Pope will not be there to hold you account… so why are you just referencing the Pope as your guide?
Just trying to square away who I should trust, Sixstar on all other religions being false or the Pope.
The Bible, and in my opinion Sixstars opinion is more aligned with Jesus in scripture than the Pope, sadly.
You can see how it would be pretty confusing, on one hand I have Sixstar and on the other the Pope.
And on the other you have Jesus…
Pope Benedict XVI - “I hope that ... my deep respect for great religions, in particular for Muslims ... has emerged clearly,”
What’s the Bible say?
I'm sure I could find other similar statements for John Paul and Francis, but if the most conservative guy is saying this than it's not looking good.
Don’t care.
Benedict says Islam is a religion in which he has respect for, legitimizing it's existence. But, a guy online says other religions are false.
Cool. What’s Jesus say?
All this because I said the most radical interpreter's of a religious text are dangerous.
Pope John Paul once kissed the Quran. Thats a hard pass for me dawg! That pretty radical.

Charlie Kirk only tipped 15%
Charlie Kirk is a jaywalker.
Charlie Kirk said mean things I didn’t like.
Charlie Kirk has triggered me so much I need to get on a message board and piss and moan about all the things I don’t like about him.
I’m also 5.

blazers said it correctly: look to scripture. don't trust humans (me included) for second hand information; go to the source.

I already gave you John 14:6
I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I'll add Acts 4:10-12
let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well. This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Pope Benedict XVI - “I hope that ... my deep respect for great religions, in particular for Muslims ... has emerged clearly,”

Do you believe that you have to agree with someone to respect them? yes or no?
I respect plenty of people I disagree with.

Further, the pope is an imperfect human. Do you believe the pope is sinless? Do you believe the pope is perfect? Do you believe everything the pope says is correct? If not, then why would you use this as a point?

All this because I said the most radical interpreter's of a religious text are dangerous.

Either you believe Jesus' words or you don't. Your choice. Adherence to the core tenet of Christian doctrine isn't radical; it's the norm.

So you're a bitch.

Got it.

So, your stance:
Charlie Kirk was evil because he insulted black women by saying four of them lacked brain processing power
But you assert that you are a good guy, while you call people that disagree with you bitches.

I am trying to find an example of Kirk calling someone a bitch. Can you help me out?

Just want to make sure you are aware of your hypocrisy.

Thanks.

Would you like to address this answer?

And you are purposefully asking a misleading question. Maybe the question you should ask is: where in the Bible does it say it's okay insult someone? To which I would respond: the Bible clearly doesn't defend insulting others, but where in the Bible does it say that Christians are perfect?

Just applying your logic.

No intelligent person would actually try to extrapolate a targeted response to an entire people group, right?
