We are #2 in 24/7 where they have 6 of our guys as 3 stars, that are actually 4 star composite.
Wonder if we'd be #1 if they got their head out their butts.
Well, once we get the few 5* properly ranked that we have and a few of those 3* to 4* we would be #1. We need those 5* guys tho, we really only have 3-4 3* guys realistically.

It's really insane how awful 247 has become.

I can somewhat understand Clapper and Thom being on the fringe.

But Garvin, McKeogh and Fryzel have absolutely NO business being 3-stars.

In this era of college football, I am glad Freeman is here and Kelly is gone. However the class ends up and whoever is in this class in Freeman I trust.

With the QB situation I don't care if Grubbs ends up being a 3* or 4* and I don't know how a recruit would feel to be "evaluated" when he's been verbally committed. I think how ND uses their QB's this season & if a QB leaves after this season depends if ND goes after another QB for this class. I think Carr starts, Minchey will play & have packages (will be doing some backflips in the end zone this season), and Hebert looked good with the 7on 7 at the B&G game; likely he redshirts.

I wonder if we try flipping Alister a guy like Brayden Reilly going to Northwestern wouldn’t be a bad LB grab
I get vibes from the pods that we are going to continue to target Alister. And idk who Reilly is. But every year an athletic LB emerges. I can see ND targeting that and the appeal would be there

Staff might be happy with 2 LB’s tho with the current system we run they like to get more DB’s on the field I’m not sure they take a 3rd LB?

Our QB is just fine, so many overreactions on Grubbs...
I’ll bite because I’ve been critical about Grubbs. I think Grubbs is in line with Kelly era qb recruiting. I just don’t think he is an elite qb if we are trying to win a national championship. I also think so far he’s not developing like the staff wants him to and maybe that’s why the late offers for a 2027 qb. I hope the kid balls out and has an awesome senior season and makes me eat my words

Honestly feel like once all of those guys are committed you devote all your attention for the 26 class on keeping them locked in and maybe big fish hunt to flip some guys committed elsewhere.

I'm trying to dial down how important a good start to the season is but if we start fast and finish the season strong we could be looking at a trend gentlemen

Who do people that don’t like Grubbs want to flip at QB? Besides Bobby mentioning the Moeller kid, who will almost definitely play baseball, I don’t see a single name get mentioned every week this comes up

I like the way these WRs are looking. Outside of maybe another LB, what else does ND need? Thinking 1/2 DL. Hopeful with Golden +1 one. Hold off on the last few and look for flips during the season?

Who else are the Irish actively chasing on the DL? Outside of a flip from Vallejo.

I’ve seen threads on other sites and Dia Bell is typically the name mentioned. I believe the ship has long sailed, but just a popular name

I think Grubbs is fine you don’t need a crazy good QB if you have talent around him. Herbert is capable too people are sleeping on him.

I feel like we are due for a generational QB talent, don't really see it in the 26 or 27 class. Maybe someone like Trevyone Towns in '28. I think the ship sailed on Bell. Gotta ride with Grubbs, maybe a coaching change at another school shakes someone loose towards the end of the season. Or maybe Grubbs is a stud all year and this is all moot anyway.
