I don't think you can lump in Kansas with Iowa lmao. I think the dudes who play football on Sundays would be enough to get a top 3 TE at Iowa every single cycle
Totally. You’ll win a bunch of games but nothing that matters at Iowa, but you’re almost guaranteed to go to the NFL if you’re a TE.

I saw one from TJ Davis’ sister that the recruits left and Freeman’s party was really just family (and Granger) as the night went on. She said the alcohol came out as soon as they left lol.

Probably had their fair share of partying just not under Freeman’s immediate property/supervision.

When you’re here, you’re family.

Not absolutely certain, but it sounds like the Rivals rankings are going away entirely. It's going to be called the Rivals300, but it's just using On3's rankings starting in early July. If this is in fact the case, ND is going to have 3 composite 5 stars on defense assuming they get Adams and O'Brien across the finish line.

Dunham, currently 14 in the composite, will have Rivals #107 removed from the equation. Makes him top 10 easy.
Adams, currently ranked 67 in the composite, will have Rivals #246 removed from the equation. Makes him top 30ish
O'Brien, currently ranked 40 in the composite, will have Rivals #136 removed from the equation. Moves him to the top 35ish.

Just watched the video on Rivals of the recruits getting off the bus….Dunham is tall and very long. Golden is pretty big, lean and long. Just basing it off Golden walking behind Thom. Thom already has a ND shirt on (he’s not leaving campus without committing. Just my guess).

Also, Dunham, Young and Burgess (assuming he stays at DE) is gonna be A LOT of fun to watch in the future. Very SEC like.

*Edit*- shit, if we get Adams and JOB the whole damn defense is gonna be fun to watch haha.

Can someone explain how on3s class calculation works? We have a higher average commit rating then Georgia and ATM with the same amount of 5 stars. Killing Georgia on BCR, why are they both ahead of usScreenshot_20250620-141434~2.png

Assume On3 adds additional weight to "elite" recruits as 247 does. In their model, getting a 98 overall and a 88 overall is better than getting two 93s overall. Not really sure I agree, but its the reason our overall class rank is always below our avg recruit rank, bc we (typically) whiff on 5 stars and load up on 4 stars.

I believe the reason is that On3 uses a standard number of commits for each team (it seems like, in this case, 12). So Georgia's top 12 commits are probably higher than our top 12 commits.

Edit: I think that number starts small at the beginning of the recruiting cycle and grows as teams start to gather commits. For instance, at the end of the 2025 cycle, the number of commits used in the ranking was 20.

Correct, they take the average of a certain number of recruits.

Both McKeough and JOB just now mentioned the class, the guys themselves as a reason they committed. Freeman does a great job of letting the class recruit itself and he gets to work on the families.

Related - that’s why someone like Vallejo just not taking his OV and coming on a Monday or whatever alone stunk, very easily could have been Irish if he was a part of these weekends.
