Do whatever Mercedes Benz Stadium does and hire whoever is in charge of their concession logistics. That thing ran more efficient than a Chik Fil A and was extremely cheap at the national title game. ~$40 for my wife and I’s food, beers and waters for our first trip to the concessions. I thought they forgot to ring up the beers when I went to pay.
Agreed, they have great prices for concessions

Not to #FoodThread this, but if you want to ever see how to run the biggest fustercluck of a concessions experience for literally 12k fans, go to a White Sox game. I swear their ballpark operations are run by a monkey. And not a smart one like a gorilla or a chimp.

as a season ticket holder, we've been not only paying high ticket prices, but also required to pay a fee in order to be a season ticket holder. For my upper bowl tickets, that fee is greater than the combined season game tickets. Only able to travel to 2-3 games, and never able to sell the other tickets at even breakeven price. Gets worse when opponents are weak. Welcome to sports economics.

Yeah season ticket holders get raked. They call me every year trying to get me to buy and they don’t like it when I tell them I’ve found midfield USC tickets on Stubhub day of game for $50 after buying corners for $125 when they were released each of the last four home games

I paid $700 to see Guns’N’Roses several years ago and $250 each to see TOOL and Radiohead at MSG. They were all great shows and fantastic performances.

The issue with high prices for games is that if your team loses, especially if they play poorly, then you didn’t have an enjoyable experience. At a concert, you’re usually going to have a good time.
I get where you’re coming from.

I’m glad I only paid $15 to see Motley Crue. Vince Neil was all wasted. He fell off the amp stacks half way up while trying to climb them (you could hear him hit the stage over the PA when he fell because he had the mic in his hand) and he kept saying “how you doing Fresno?” but the show was in Bakersfield.

Saxon who opened was great though!

$150 a ticket is bad for me. I’ll never be able to buy tickets for myself and my family at that price. I’m being phased out of being able to attend.
Bingo. And the fact that they charge for children under 2 is borderline criminal. No professional stadium, at least in Detroit, charges for kids. ND's policy: ""it's to ensure comfort for all patrons." He's literally the size of a large popcorn and drink...do I need a ticket for those, too?

Now we either need to drop $450 for my wife and I to get in the door, even if he's strapped to my chest, or she and he don't go at all. Fuck that noise.

A 100,000 seat stadium would be great for ticket prices but would hate looking at the empties for the less important games

Well, the little guy needs to get indoctrinated early and often, so I'm telling her to enjoy her "me" day while you two enjoy the game! lol

Tons of construction lately but the campus looks better and better every time I step on campus. ☘️

Hope they have football/sports complex open house open to the public one day.

Back in Phoenix '06, I watching Maynard basically refuse to sing after the 1st song. Incredibly disappointing

Wow. That is disappointing. Any idea what happened? I’ve seen him with A Perfect Circle and TOOL and he was great.

It’s happened a few times. Usually when he’s having anxiety he’ll just setup behind the band and sing in the dark without a spotlight.

Yeah, that’s different from refusing to sing though, right? I mean, he did that (set up behind the band) when I saw TOOL in 2019. I just thought that was his thing.

Someone threw a water bottle (it was not a cool day) and he wasn't having it and started yelling at the crowd...went about as you would expect. He just stood behind his screen and would occasionally sing half a lyric or the chorus on 46&2. The crowd wasn't having that and more water bottles flew, Maynard took his voice and went home.

One of the best shows I've been to was a perfect circle show and when I saw tool on the lateralus tour they were awesome.

I know that's what the screen was for and why he is in the back. He doesn't get behind the screen as much anymore and mills about the back of the stage.

I don't think my experience was just pissy Maynard. He talked a lot of shit to the crowd, maybe they hit him. He was making wine in Arizona by then and it wouldn't shock me if he just didn't want to perform and grabbed the first excuse not to.

I won't buy tool tickets anymore though. Which kind of stinks and I should probably reconsider.

Just did a quick google...Maynard quits singing because of fans often enough, that it's a thing

Same tour, different show, same shit.

That really sucks. Just like spending a lot of money to watch a game like Northern Illinois, I’d be super pissed if I went to a concert where the artist quit or just mailed it in. I’m going to Queens of the Stone Age in a couple of weeks and I hope they fuckin’ rock.

I was supposed to go to that game, but my wife started having contractions the weekend before and was nearing pre-term labor. Doc basically put her on bed rest and put the kibosh on any sort of travel plans. Blessing in disguise......Nothing like spending $300 on two tix, another couple hundred per person on a BNB, $100 on food/beverage, only to be a part of an upset of that magnitude.

To play devil's advocate, maybe YOU'RE the reason we lost! We were counting on you to get your section fired up and disrupt Northern Illinois' gameplan!

Buddy, we couldn't complete a forward pass that day to save our lives. The only thing I would've contributed is the amount of boiling rage inside that Stadium and a dozen or so empty Miller Lite cans in a nearby garbage can.

I feel your pain. I went to see ND vs FSU back when Bowen and Willingham coached. ND got flippin rolled. I then went to ND vs Mich back when ND was pre season #2 and Quinn was QB. First play of the game the Mich LB pick 6ed a screen and ND lost. Then I was planning to take the wifey to ND vs Stanford at ND. Right before buying, pulled the deal. Wound up being a sleetfest near blizzard so I lucked out passing on going. Really thinking this is God's way of saying No ND games for me

I don’t know. This still sounds like a you problem.
Shit, when you put it that way, I take full responsibility.

With this in mind, I was hoping that you and @ulukinatme would spearhead launching a go fund me so that I can obtain season tickets and the boys never lose again because of me and my poor choices?
