I actually think states rights is a huge and worthy cause for our current divide. People should have discretion and be able to move around like we are currently seeing with the people fleeing blue states taxes and oppressive government for opportunity in red states.

Congress has been giving up power for 100 years... They are the ones that are supposed to make the laws, declare war, confirm appointments, etc. and yet they have continually ceded power to the executive since WWI. All because if they do that, Congress get to play both sides of things going well or poor they still smell like roses.

The whole empowered this - both halves of Congress have consistently punted responsibility to the executive branch and federalized everything imaginable. That dark "whole" (sic) was threatened upon Trump and anyone associated first. Obama drone killed piles of folks including CITIZENS of the US without a trial. Shut down the globe over a head cold but now apoplectic over the threat of tariffs.

I know it frustrates the dem loyalists that someone finally answered the bell on the other side of the aisle. So spoiled by decades of controlled opposition. Oh the horror of being called names! Dems invented bully and intimidation tactics! From the KKK to modern Tesla warriors. Enjoy the ride, both sides deserve exactly what they made.
