They commit crime at a lower rate than naturalized citizens. They do jobs Americans don't want to do, and they help stem our worsening birthrate.

It's an intentionally misleading and dishonest claim.

Why would I care?

Because it's the law? We have immigration laws like every other country. They're there for a reason. An invasion of millions of people in direct violation of our laws should bother everyone. This is the point of my meme above. You're all for the law and the courts when it furthers your wishes and agenda, but totally OK with ignoring it when it helps your side. You weren't interested in the legality of the illegals coming here, so don't be a hypocrite and cry about the legality when we boot them out.

Just because I don't care if a particular law is enforced doesn't mean I can't care that it's followed properly if the government decides to. Just because I think vast deportations are a waste of a time and resources doesn't mean that I can't care that those laws are followed correctly when Trump decides to enforce them.
