This is what I’m thinking

Being that he is a top 50 player and has a relationship with Seider, seems like the staff is swinging for the fences going for the best talent possible (assuming the staff also views him as a top 50 guy). He’s also a talented secondary player……

On3 is always a little bit of an outlier in their rankings, but some very strange ones:

Javian Osborne has fallen to 157 and the 15th overall RB. Conversely, Brian Bonner is up to 55 and the #4 overall RB. Jonaz Walton is appropriately ranked IMO at #104 and and the #6 RB. Osborne and Bonner should be flipped IMO.

Ekene Ogboko is down to #107 while McKeough is all the way up to #183.

Most egregious ranking of them all IMO is Joey O'Brien at #100 and the #8 Safety. How he's not a top 5 safety and top 50 recruit I do not understand.

Sliding him down the rankings anticipating a ND commitment

I like the strategy of focusing on high-upside speedsters out of HS. Seems very easy to get a quality possession receiver out of the portal, but explosive playmakers result in bidding wars.

That might be it but he's also like Osborne and Bonner IMO are of the few RBs that you can make an argument of being the #1 RB in the class.

Seider was trying to get him to be his 1-2 punch with Mickens at PSU and maybe now ND got the academic clearance to offer.

I've been following 'crootin for a long ass time and this is as optimistic as the insiders have been for the Irish to land elite recruits in 25 years.

It just feels too good to be true since we can't have nice things. At least as abundantly as the bamas, bucks and dawgs...

I'd love have those plus Adams , Finley, Robinson and new offer Jayden Warren...then we start to field not only elite talent but also elite speed.
