To the extent there was smack, it wasn't about Urlacher as a person. It was that Southern Cal led by Chadouche Bagowden acted like getting him was some big coup and a hit to ND's defense, when the fact was if Urlacher had any path to being a starter at ND, he wouldn't have left.
