I already acknowledged Trumps role. I don't believe his share of the blame is anywhere near as it is with Biden though. Why is that so hard for you to admit? We all agree the withdrawal was handled poorly and should've been better planned and executed. Both Biden and Trump are too blame for that. I don't get what's so hard to admit about that.
For clarification, the agreement called for the release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners, but also the release of 1,000 Afghan soldiers. Smart move to get the soldiers released, because we all knew that once we were out of there and the Taliban took over, those prisoners were going to get out anyway.
Biden could have canceled or postponed it if he wasn't ready. You seem to forget that he had already moved the date from May to September. His own generals told him it was a mistake to leave in September. Instead he sticks with it because the Taliban might get upset? The 13 servicemen killed, the countless Afghans who assisted the U.S. that were killed or imprisoned and all of the equipment left is squarely on Biden the president who touted his vast foreign policy experience. All of that could have been avoided if he had just pushed this back.
