Just a hunch but I'd say this is more about Carson Palmer and less about Bowden. Palmer has to know that Riley sucks ass though.

If we can get two top 250 WRs with our lack of production, ill consider that a win. Not sure who those guys are tho lol.

I guess we’re all in on Finley and the 2 Texas Robinsons.

Thank god for the portal because Notre Dame can at least cover up for the dead weight on its staff now.

I hope that's true. We need a QB who bats it outta the park as a passer this year - Otherwise it won't be pretty with a Beaux on board :(

Isn't Brian Williams Jr. another WR target for '26?

There are plenty of scholarship offers out to WRs. It's March. Keep your wits about you.

Mosley stings because he's a double legacy, just like his brother Emmett. But, a SoCal WR going to USC, who despite having rather average seasons of late, have produced recent NFL WRs like Jordan Addison, Drake London, Amon-Ra. St Brown, Michael Pittman and further back in years, JuJu Smith-Schuster. Some notable NFL names.

Clock is ticking on Mike Brown.

He could be the best position coach in the game, but if you can't recruit, you can't be on this staff.

Is it a brown problem or just guys don’t wanna come here just to block? I think if we start throwing more recruiting will change

There seems to be a variety issues. Besides the standard academic & geographical issues some top wr recruits may have with ND, you got guys like Mike Frank saying that Brown is just not great at recruiting. You have Prister, O'Malley & Brice more specifically saying that the on-field product (run-first, limited downfield passing attack offense) is not going to be attractive to recruits right now. Maybe both are correct.

Counter Point: if they threw more for the sake of WR recruiting last year, they don’t make the natty or win two of the biggest games in the past 30 years.

I’d love better results in WR recruiting, but using hindsight to lament the lack of passing reps considering the season ND had is foolish

Foolish you say in response to a 2008 post? And here I thought you’d been here for a while.
