To be fair, unless you're paying some super unaffordable premium now, most health plans don't pay for a lot of stuff or their contribution is so small you might as well be paying the full amount.
I work in gov and I just dropped my healthcare because I pay so much and they pay so little.

You're making a career on IE of being a childish troll whose only mission is to be disruptive to all discussions and contribute nothing of substance.
You should really not type posts while staring in the mirror.

Things like what you just said above will happen.

Just a helpful hint.

Remember trump saying Honda is going to build the biggest, beautiful, greatest new plant in Indiana?

Honda had to fact check

"Honda has made no such announcement and will not comment on this report. The Honda Civic has been made in our Indiana Auto Plant since the facility opened in 2008 based on our longstanding approach to build products close to the customer. We have the flexibility to produce products in each region based on customer needs and market conditions"

Her* and I've very clearly laid out rights being taken away.

Hit the nail on the head
You and I have discussed having a respectful, serious, in-depth discussion about all this. I'm still willing to. I want you to know in advance, however, that I'm going to approach it from a logical, factual, scientific and medical standpoint. What you or I or anyone else "wants" or "feels" is irrelevant. I have absolutely nothing against you or the trans community in general, but it's not a healthy, normal, perfectly fine alternative. It's a psychological/psychiatric disorder to be treated as such, the same as we treat anorexia, addiction, depression or any other mental health issue.

Unsurpisingly, Trump's entire angle/brag on that point was idiotic.

1. The plants he was bragging about were already planned...for 2027.
2. Those plants are NOW delayed until 2028 due to Trump's trade war/tariffs causing disturbances in the supply chain and Honda possibly having to divert resources to moving current production lines to current plants within the US in short order
3. The plant(s) were(are?) going to be centered around a line of Honda EV's...which given Trump's position on EV's..will there even be a need for those plants in 2028 if the federal government continues to kneecap the demand and infrastructure for them?

bishop will just come back and say he is fine with all these things/excuse them........so next time rather than ask for specifics....he can just admit he's a monster/ghoul and we can move on.

If I had cancer in my lungs, I would work to treat the cancer rather than remove my lungs. There are things that the government can do to heal the social fabric of the country and root out corrosive activities like the KKK.

I see foreigners coming into our country to spew hatred in support of foreign terrorist organizations as carcinogens. If you accidentally ingested Cobalt-60, you should work to remove it from your body as soon as you possibly can.

I get that its not a perfect analogy. Citizens that are here have a higher level of speech protection than those who are not citizens.

Right, that's why I believe in rehabilitation and that if you are charged for the TG Hate Law you'll be allowed to re-enter society. That's why I stated it's for hateful property (clothing etc.) and not for hateful speech. You shouldn't be able to own a fucking Nazi uniform or fly Hamas flags.

I agree with the general thought of the slippery slope analogy for hate speech, but when it comes to hateful property that should not be allowed.

I agree with the Free Speech jurisprudence that protects property as speech (Tinker v. Des Moines regarding a student wearing an armband in protest for the Vietnam War, or Cohen v. California which overturned the conviction of a man who wore a "Fuck the Draft" shirt to work).

Any governmental restrictions on what flags are banned would be rooted in political opinions of the ruling party. While I agree I would love to see a world where no Nazi flags or KKK paraphernalia exist, the entire purpose of the 1st amendment is to protect citizens from a tyrannical government which will ALWAYS go above and beyond the original intention of its power and abuse it. First you ban a Nazi flag, then the BLM and Rainbow flags get banned eventually.

There is really no equivalence in those. It's quite simple, the core cause of the KKK/Nazi's is evil, BLM and Pride is not evil at it's core and bad actors are not monoliths for the entire movement.

I agree that the core of those messages are not equivalent. The problem is that when you give the government power to ban one, you inevitably give them the power to ban the other.

Well, less than 7 days ago Virginia advocated for eliminating cultural affirmation/celebration of/by the trans community and called it a "social contagion".....so.......he might not be the person for this conversation.

Don't disagree at all. Thankfully I'm blessed to have pretty good insurance since I work at a hospital and pretty much all my healthcare is considered in house
You're lucky to have that, but that's also more of an exception in regards to everyone's healthcare coverage. Saw some news that when insurance companies found out the new semaglutide drugs were helping people lose weight, they quickly reclassified them. The copay was around $40-$50 per plan depending on the drug and the insurance company. It's now around $250-$500 per prescription if they will even pay for it. Seems counter productive on their part considering obese people tend to have more health issues. As I was writing this, out of curiosity I checked my coverage and it won't pay anything.

They removed that as well for us. Insurance companies suck regardless and if with mine being considered in house it's still been a pain to deal with. The insurance industry and billing & coding industry needs to be over hauled. I know the billing & coding problem was something mentioned by the Trump administration. I really hope to see positive improvements in that area to remove the needless bloat and hopefully being pricing back down by removing the hidden fees.

We are one of biggest suppliers to that Honda plant. They make the Honda Civic Hatchback and the CR-V. Currently they are not running three full shifts in the plant. They've told us they are planning on bringing on more work since they have the capacity. This is without having to add on to the existing plant or building another one.

There wouldn't be enough support for the government to do that? Is there anyone on this forum that would advocate for banning a BLM or pride flag?

Just because of the flag discussion and to further the discussion this is the kind of legislation being pushed at the state levels. Outlawing the pride flag but allowing the Nazi flag

I agree, but I doubt it ever happens. When we first got married, our insurance paid for everything. Our first two kids cost us nothing in doctor and hospital bills. Now they want you to pay the copay the minute you walk in the office. lol

My insurance is the main reason I haven't been more aggressive looking for new jobs. I'm objectively spoiled by it regardless of the limitations by it's network. But it works for me and my wife

I think it say a lot about the typical Trump voter that they see banning the Nazi/KKK flags as an "eye for an eye" with BLM and Pride flags.
