Using the “I’ve seen videos bruh”. I can only imagine what the Ukraine team was thinking when they reviewed the press list and saw someone from TASS on it.

I don't think anyone has suggested that anyone other than Ukrainians need to fight. I think what has been suggested is that Europe and the US continue to give like 1% of their defense budgets to continue aiding Ukraine.

That way the world continues to know that wars of conquest will not be rewarded with weakness and capitulation. That's basically the legacy of the Allied victory in World War 2, and the basis of a world order that MAGA wants to throw in the trash. Eisenhower and Company are rolling in their graves.

To be clear, despite Trump's blatant lies, they have provided more funding than the US. I hope this spurs them on to release the rest of the frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. And I hope Ukraine stops abiding by whatever guidelines/restrictions the US is putting on them in terms of counter offenses. Start hitting deep into Russia.

If the defense of my country basically comes down to another country providing support, I'm not biting the hand that feeds me. This war was never winnable unless NATO put boots on the ground, a lot of experts said that from the start. Zelensky is a fool if he thinks he can go it alone now. European countries have tired of supporting the proxy war for awhile and the conflict is at their backdoor, not ours. There's no major new push coming from their end, Ukraine's best option is to seek peace at this point. If Zelensky wants to drag this out he's only going to loose support and ultimately could then start losing land again.
