No, I understand it quite well. I've managed various teams from 20-50 people throughout COVID. The ones who are hall monitors are always the under utilized people who need work. People who are focused on "WFH" are those who need make-work projects to stay busy and take away from the profit centers to push their corporate jargon onto us. In the private sector you will never see the decision makers talking about WFH unless it's an HR directive. We go to HR to get shit done, if HR is coming to us to get shit done it's probably going to cost us.

WFH political government policy is made to satiate those that are under educated and want to take out their anger at the "corporate elites" or "white collar" people as "lazy" because actually addressing the core issues of efficiency is too complex for them.
Private sector, 20-50 people… wow… amazing. Lol, you don’t understand.

I know firsthand and see first hand the inefficiencies wfh has cost different government agencies. I am here now. You don’t understand but continue… fuck sake. Not only inefficient but you can’t have a bunch of secret and top secret workers casually working these government job/contracts from home. Efficiency isn’t even the biggest of issues.

I’m getting my haircut. I’m near DC. Another guy is here from Indiana. He is here because he’s been remote since 2020. His office has went 50/50 office/remote and expects to be 100% with Trump running things. He is looking forward to it… weird. That is all.
So they're looking at 100% remote? That's what I've done the last decade or so, been remote since before COVID and have no plans to going back. My wife is too, although she works for Caresource and that job kinda sucks. I love the freedom, love the money I save on gas, love not having to waste time commuting, and I love just rolling out of bed and getting to work. I don't think I could go back into an office at this point. I know how to get the answers I need when I have a question, I never cared for office environments personally. Hate having big wigs standing over your shoulder, or dealing with lunch room thieves, or having to work near idiots in other cubicles. Back when I used to work in an office there was a guy on the other side of the wall from me, and anytime he'd get a message it would play Achmed the Dead Terrorist's voice "Silence! I kill you!" That didn't get old quick.

Don't have to deal with any of that bullshit at home...unless my wife decides she wants to annoy me  I did make some friends when I used to work in an office and every once in a great while we'll still get together and hang out, but that was mostly when we were all childless and it happens a lot less now that we all have families of our own.

For fucks sake you go from slinging bike chains to working in a department of 1 and I'm the one who doesn't understand how WFH policies work? You want the government to run efficiently and "like a business"....but I don't understand how WFH works - you can't make this up.

Just arguing for the sake of showing your stupidity. Another reason why you're at the bottom, can't even read what I'm saying just want to argue. So sad.

I owned a retail store and you think that’s all I did? 😂

At the bottom… sure. 🙄 😂

100% in office is what he’s said they are eventually working toward.

Ahh, yeah, wasn't completely clear because he first started talking about it saying the guy had been remote.

Fuck all that. Ain't nobody gonna make me put pants on for meetings anymore!
Lol, yeah I’d quit if they ever had me go to an office.

So, Trump goes all in with the Stargate AI tech bros and days later that all starts to melt down.

Looking like Foxcon 2.0.

RFK Jr. is purely a transactional pick to lead HHS. I think he's a bit of a nut but fundamentally less of a nut than Rachel Levine. Won't be upset if he's denied, but won't be upset if he's confirmed. We have every right to dig into our governmental entanglement with Big Pharma and Big Ag. There is zero reason why the FDA should be staffed with decision makers that get paychecks from Pharmaceutical companies.

Yeah, It won't bother me one way or the other. He's a 50/50 guy. Has some very good thoughts and ideas, but about the same amount of kooky ones.

This is good news. Glad to see not all Dems toed the party line and voted against it.

Welp.

Didn’t take long for the amateur hour shit to kick with the memos that rescind the previous memo.

How about offering every federal employee the option to resign via the subject line in an email lol.
