This is the difference when you pay high school recruits to come and you don’t. ND needs to find a happy medium where they pay some highschool guys and then use the rest on current players and transfers. We can’t keep bringing in 3 star wide receivers and hoping they hit or 3 star DL and waiting 4 years for them to make a difference.

Depends how our boosters respond to this/ if the university allows them to do something. ND is on the precipice. Do what it takes to take that final step or 2.
Hopefully it fires them up and allows our payroll to consistently be in the $12-15M range as opposed to $6-7M. There's no reason it shouldn't be. There's also no reason why fans shouldn't be able to contribute to the collective. Fans are allowed to at Ohio State, Oregon, and the SEC schools.

Not if the goal is to become a football juggernaut but it’s not.

It’s interesting when you go into this game reminding yourself we are playing on house money with a young offensive line, a 1 dimensional quarterback we move on from next year, and a defense that is legitimately beat up, but talented and deep, I’m not that upset. I am disappointed but extremely hopeful moving forward.

Mike Frank and Jamie talked about this on a ISD podcast during the season. They said there are plenty of big recruits with ND offers that would come to ND if ND offered them the biggest (or a big) bag and not be locker room cancers.
