Long shot but if anyone has any tickets to the official ND tailgate they are willing to sell I’m looking for 2. My wife and I have game tickets so we get into the Allstate Tailgate which should be fun but are a bit concerned about the sub freezing temps so an indoor option might be nice.

You merely adopted the doomposting, I was born in it (Vikings fan), molded by it, I didn't see positivity towards my sports teams until I was a grown man (Braves fan: 2021; Golden Knights fan: 2023), by then it was nothing but blinding.

This playoff run has been remarkable and so much fun, but I don't know that there's anything anymore like the hype around the Florida State game that year. They basically invented Gameday for that one. And remember that Rudy was in theaters that fall...
Was quite a time to be an impressionable young Notre Dame fan.

Game Day was already a thing. They would broadcast It In studio at that time at ESPN headquarters..

FSU at ND, the game of the century. It was the first time they went to a college campus.
It cost ESPN $50,000 to have the whole production team in South Bend for that game, and It was the beginning of a great program, that probably to this day saved ESPN as a network. Debatable.

Bob Costas and that intro should be played before this game imho, what a great piece of work.
We have a lot of first's in our history.
Beating OSU would be the first time we beat them since Oct. of 1936. We have a lot of built up tension with that Ohio team, and we need to win this 1.

We are getting a new CAD for the dispatch center I work at. Helping all the other dispatchers, the training staff, changing settings and all, I was so Busy this week I didn’t really have to time to read all the stuff on X, and the press conferences.

Monday night will be good even if we lose. This team could have given up and quit. They didn’t and look at one of the best teams in college football. But a win would be better.
