Making a few $million per year has its perks.
Including any team that is ranked below #8 is just dumb. They aren't gonna win it.The selection process does need some tweaking to it. I'm not suggesting that Alabama, Ole Miss, or South Carolina should have gotten in, but it hasn't been perfect yet.
For example, I'd argue that 2023 Georgia was the best team in college football; however, they didn't get a bid. In terms of this season, I'm okay with Indiana and maybe SMU (I struggle with that one) getting in over the aforementioned three SEC schools. Ultimately, I don't think a 3 loss team deserves a bid, but the seeding this year was jacked up. For example, I think Notre Dame is a much better team than Penn State. Yet, Penn State gets to play SMU and Boise State, while Notre Dame was rewarded with Indiana and Georgia. The selection process, as it currently stands, is flawed and needs to be adjusted.
I've had the same thought countless times about a few of the folks on IE. If a girl breaks your heart, you don't run around in public crying and yelling, "She didn't hurt me!" or celebrate when she gets her heart broken. That all just screams insecurity and "I'm hurt." You act indifferent. All the sarcastic "ESS EEE CEE" and "It just means more" and whining about SEC and Bama dominance makes you guys look really bad. There are a couple of SEC and Bama and Georgia boards that repost some of this stuff from IE and laugh at you about it.
You don't become better when someone more successful fails. You become better when they succeed and you get better than them. Gloating about the failures of someone who's been more successful is pathetic. Winners see success and want to climb to its level. Losers see success and want it to fall to their own. FFS, be Notre Dame, a legendary blue blood, and stop crying about the SEC. I love you guys and pull for ND most of the time, but this is beneath you.

13 of the last 18 NC's says that's envy talking. Stop whining and acting hurt by the SEC. It's pathetic. ND is supposed to be bigger than that. Top their success instead of griping about it. Do you want to win because your opponent slowed down or because you got faster?Nah.
The SEC is like Amy from Big Bang Theory. Ugly.

2 or 3 teams do not make up the whole SEC. It would be understandable if the whole conference was winning those championships.13 of the last 18 NC's says that's envy talking. Awful decision
The SEC was built on the back of $ and an exceptionally high tolerance for low education standards and criminal behavior. Lol.I like him, but his true colors are coming out a little bit.
Bishop you can't deny that the SEC was literally built on the backs of Saban and Meyer and everyone else benefited. And of those 13 how many were Saban?
